Kagoshima Sun Royal Hotel recensioner

Please find the thicker blanket, this one was not only think and not warm enough, but also the blanket cover was always out of place. Unfortunately I got the city view room

I like this hotel. I've stayed here for 2 times. They provide a free transfer from and to Railway station and a city centre. Very good onsen with a scenic view on Sakurajima. You can also rent a bike here in the hotel for a reasonable price. Convenience store is right by the hotel.

the room are very big and also have beautiful sea view of 櫻島! hotel supply a fee shuttle bus between Kagoshima station and hotel everyday.

They changed my room on Christmas day and I ended up somewhere right under a staircase and the whole night I could hear people walking down and up. Didn't sleep at all. But the staff is wonderful and the onsen is the best

Hotel pillow is too soft and the blanket color is not very interesting, why not make it white color like other hotel?

Hotel is good, clean room great location, very nice view of the mountain. Onsen on top floor

Though you have to catch a taxi from the station but you got a very god view of Sakurajima from room. Very warm welcome and nice hospitality.

Everything looks quite old. There are wooden boards and old mattresses under the bed. They are for an extra bed, but make use feel weird. Window of hot spring is always with a layer of mist, so we cannot see the Sakurajima clearly. Staff are helpful.

The staff members were very hospitable. Check in was fast and Jeffrey gave us detailed explanation of the facilities of the hotel. He also greeted us every time he met us in the lobby. While the renovation in the room is old fashioned, it is kept clean. We were very lucky that we had good view of Sakurajima during our two days stay. Breakfast in the lobby cafe and dinner in the Japanese restaurant were good.

Superb location with shopping (Uniqlo, GU, ABC mart to name a few) and food (Mos Burger) located nearby. Clear view of Sakurajima, everyone enjoyed the stay!

The hotel situates at town centre. It’s convenient for dinning and shopping

Hotel is a bit far from train station but they do provide free shuttle bus service. The hot springs bath is located on the top floor with good view of the volcano mountain. You can enjoy the views while taking the bath. There are also many shopping and entertainment complexes close by.
