family run, super nice people. awesome old style interior. got everything you need in style. everything clean and functional. food is just down the street. parking just across the street. would have stayed longer if not for a tight schedule

What a find! An absolute gem in the middle of Kaikohe township. The building has been superbly restored and retains its timeless charm with modern conveniences. The bed was super comfortable, the water hot, and the room spotless. Definitely a great place to stay!

Beautifully decorated rooms in an historic Bank of New Zealand building. Very clean, quiet, close to all Kaikohe amenities. The room was upstairs, and there are stairs at entrance. Recently and tastefully decorated, shower over bath, comfortable beds. Some sound from ceiling vent. Fridge in common hallway, so no fridge noise in room. Looked to be best accommodation in Kaikohe. Good WiFi. Good base for doing the Pou Herenga Tai coast to coast cycle trail. Secure lock up for bikes and car. Does not serve breakfast or meals, but there are options close by. Pub closed Sunday. Very helpful manager and friendly staff made it a delight to stay here.

Great stay at left bank. Very spacious room, modern boutique styled, and comfortable beds. Stayed for 2 nights and was everything we needed. Great communication from Mihi, she made us felt at home as everything went smooth, we weren’t pressured into anything and all interactions were very chill.

We had such a nice welcome from the charming hostess Mihi. She was helpful and patient and flexible ensuring our visit was superb. Her attitude was 100% visitor focused. The restored building was a treat to stay in. Very comfortable bed and tasteful decor.

We had a lovely stay at Left Bank. The room was beautiful and well decorated in keeping with the banks heritage. The room was clean. The hostess was lovely and accommodating. The only thing about Kaikohe is there isn't much choose for eating out.

Excellent customer service with a lovely furnished old house and decor. Miha was v customer focussed and aware of decent places to eat around town. There was a pleasant ding room which could be used for guests and a fridge for storage of food etc.. I would recommend here for anybody who can handle a small flight of stairs.i would stay here again.

Left bank has very comfortable, clean and attractive rooms. Mihi, the manager, of Left Bank was extremely helpful with all of our questions, helping us get settled in and having our laundry get done. Mihi was personal and also very nice to talk to. The only disappointment was that the hotel restaurant was closed indefinitely. I highly recommend staying at Left Bank if you're planning on sleeping in Kaikohe.

Left Bank was a very pleasurable experience from booking and receiving the friendly and welcoming emails to meeting Mihi who was the perfect host. The room and bathroom had been beautifully restored and furnished and both were spotlessly clean.
