This is such an authentic place to stay and a perfect location in the ancient town. My room was great and overlooked the river and at night the lights were beautiful. The hosts are super helpful and all my questions were answered using translation apps. The fact no one spoke English didn’t matter as we communicated effectively using the apps. The family cooked me a lovely dinner in the evening and everyone was so friendly and helpful. This is a really lovely ancient town not visited by many foreigners. If you want to visit an authentic real ancient town I recommend you stay here. Such great value for money.

best host. got picked up from somewhere closer to Xiasi (so keep in mind it is a shuttle from certain points) and received help with some beehive in no time. perfect and amazing experience :)

Services are exceptional with owner answering my question in a minute. Lovely historical town with neat river bridges that are eliminated at night. You have to pay an entrance fee into Scenic area so if you are staying several days, make sure get multiple day ticket . Location is great if you like staying in Historical area and don’t mind noise form cheerful crowds. The light show at the historical area are beautiful but they come with the loud music and fireworks that shake the room until 10:30 at night. Location is 30-40 minutes away from Kaili so if you are exploring Minority Villages you have to take multiple busses (first to Kaili and second to village)

This place was great. Run by the entire family. One of the more sturdier of the wooden properties I stayed in. Very comfortable room with all you need - I think they all have views across the river. Very decent family run restaurant attached. Close taxi ride from Kaili South if you are overnighting there and don't want to stay in Kaili

lovely place inside xiasi village overlooking the river. the only place that accepts foriegners in the village. the owner offers a food menu too.

木屋內部設計非常用心，原木風格的裝修讓人感覺温暖又舒適。房間乾淨整潔，房東人超級熱情，從預訂到入住都提供了很多幫助，還給我們推薦了附近的徒步路線和特色餐廳。

臨河客棧，下樓就是河邊，環境不錯，就是距離古鎮停車點有點遠，而且很多梯坎，行李多的不太方便。確實是老房子，很有年代感，住的是一種情懷吧，衞生就很一般了，有不少小蟲子之類的。床品也非常一般。旅行途中，全當換一種體驗吧！

房間在江旁邊，可以看到外面的風景，下樓就可以到一個小碼頭，可以拍照打卡，還可以去划船，位置比較好找
