Seascape Accommodation

We stayed for two nights. It’s a very comfortable and inviting place with everything one could want . One looks out to the sea and even though it’s on the main road, it’s quiet and peaceful. Despite the weather being very cold the heat pump meant we were warm and cosy. I had amazing support from Laura having had to cancel twice because of covid. We managed to arrive on our third attempt.

My wife and I had been travelling for a couple of weeks and had not been to the Caitlins before. This accommodation was probably the best of all our booked accommodation. Everything was provided and thought of. We have owned accommodation businesses over the years and this place is well worth the stay. The host is very friendly. We will be back .

The view, ocean front location, and value for the money can't be beat! The room has a couch facing the wall-to-wall sliding glass door/windows which look out to the Kaka Point beach. Communication with the owner was great. The room had a separate living area/kitchenette and bedroom. They left chocolates for us on arrival which was nice. The only small complaint is the bathroom has no shower enclosure, just a shower faucet on one of the walls, and it has great water pressure, so the water goes everywhere - the entire bathroom floor was wet as well as the toilet. There were plenty of towels to dry things with but it would be nicer if there were a glass wall to block the spray. But like I said, this is minor compared to the value you're getting for the money with such a great location and view. Also just a note for future travelers. The Point Cafe & Bar right next door is decent but it is the ONLY restaurant at the beach and they close at 7:30pm. Otherwise, you have to drive 20 minutes (40 round trip) to get to "downtown" where the other restaurants are. We went to The Point Cafe and it was booked for the dining room so we ate at the bar which had a limited menu. It was bar food but decent and we were tired and hungry and the beer was cold and good. One other note - Google maps shows the address for their office on Marine Terrace which is one street back from the beach, but we actually stayed at a beachfront apartment at 56 Esplanade, 1 minute away from the office.

We stayed in one of the 2 units next to the pub. It was so nice. Lots of little touches such as chocolates on the bed! The view was fantastic. It was also very quiet. We really didn’t hear anything from the pub, however it was quiet as there weren’t too many people around in October. The room was warm and very comfortable with enough cooking facilities to eat in if you want to. Would highly recommend staying here!

Exceptional place. In the middle of paradise. Very accommodating hosts. Modern room with modern facilities, great communication. Bed was super comfy and bathroom was perfect. Room was warm, tv in living and bedroom.

Seascape more than exceeded our expectations! From the booking right through to the departure m, all aspects were seamless! On arrival, went straight to our door in the 1 bedroom unit and opened to a warm and stylish accommodation! Everything is meticulously clean and tidy, and furnishings and decor are en pointe! Beautiful bedroom with a very comfortable firm bed and quality linen. The side lamps were on and the wall heater going ensured that this looked and felt cozy. The bathroom is also well appointed with fresh towels provided everyday. Very good shower and we had no problems with it being a curtain shower! The water drained away very quickly. Main living area has everything you need … and more. We were welcomed with a gift pack of chocolate and crisps ready for us. The Nespresso machine was a welcome addition with pods replenished by Laura when required. The kitchen is fully appointed - even a 1 lite bottle of milk in the fridge. The filtered water on the bench as well as the brita filter jug in the fridge endured all water was filtered if you wanted that. A comfy couch and even a throw blanket to be super snug is provided while gazing out the large sliding doors to the sea and across to the nugget point lighthouse. A television in both the lounge and bedroom also is available, along with a mini sound system with some good cds to listen to. Going in and out the back door ensured that footwear can be taken off at the lino area where a provided umbrella is kept, of which we took advantage of using on our walk down to the restaurant for a meal. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be recommending this amazing place to others.
