My wife and I really enjoyed our weekend trip at the Kalamazoo House. The location is excellent and our room was very comfortable. We also enjoyed learning about the history of the house. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were delicious. Highly recommended!

A large group of us stayed here for two nights for a family funeral. Jeff and Amy were welcoming, flexible and kind throughout our stay. We all used to live in Kalamazoo, but none of us has a home there anymore, so it was nice to have a comfortable space to gather and linger over coffee. The rooms were lovely and clean. The food was excellent. We've stayed there several other times and found it to be a consistently clean, comfortable and welcoming space.

My husband and I felt like we walked back in time at this beautiful bed and breakfast. The house is gorgeous! It was quiet and we spent a lot of time in the parlor. Amy and Jeff were wonderful hostesses and made us feel most welcome. Loved the festive Halloween decorations.

We had a great time in Kalamazoo and were happy to find an option different than an ordinary hotel. The house was exactly as depicted on the website and the hosts (Amy and Jeff) went above and beyond expectations. They clearly enjoy what they do and it shows in the details; especially the breakfasts! We can't thank you enough!

My husband and I stayed two nights at the Kalamazoo House in mid-August, and it completely lived up to its excellent reviews. We had never been here and wanted to stay at a bed and breakfast rather than a hotel, especially one that has a long history in Kalamazoo and gives you a true feeling for the area. Jeff and Amy are wonderful hosts, making sure everything is perfect. There were fresh baked cookies served on a plate with a welcoming note each evening. Breakfast both days featured a fresh and wonderfully tasty fruit concoction and our choice of a sweet or savory main dish. We had vanilla pancakes one morning and French toast the next; both were delicious. Our room was very charming and comfortable. The entire inn is filled with beautiful artwork and history. I highly recommend staying at the Kalamazoo House if you visit this area. You won't be disappointed!

I stayed once a week for six weeks as I had early mornings at Kalamazoo Institute of Arts next door. I chose the Muskegon room which I had never stayed in. The small room is very comfy and the easy chair perfect for reading and working on my ipad. As I have to leave before the 9am breakfast, they pack me a ToGo meal. Amy and Jeff are the perfect hosts. I always enjoy my stays at the beautiful Kalamazoo House!

My son and I had a wonderful stay at the Kalamazoo House! The property was very well maintained. The Inn Keepers were friendly and welcoming, yet allowed privacy! Breakfast was phenomenal! Several nice restaurants under a 10 minute walk! We would 100% stay here again!

My wife and I have stayed at the Kalamazoo House many times over the years, and we always enjoy it. Amy and Jeff are excellent hosts, always thinking of new ways to make our stay even more comfortable. They continue to make small changes and improvements to the house to keep it fresh. We’ve experienced about half of the rooms, and they have all been lovely and unique. Good restaurants, like Rustica and HopCat, are within walking distance, as is Bells Brewery. And I must mention the breakfasts at the Kalamazoo House, which are excellent. We always feel very much at home at the Kalamazoo House and will definitely return.

Absolutely the best place to stay! Beautifully restored and decorated but updated with any amenity you could want. Our room had a great view of the Chihuly glass sculpture at the art institute, right next door, and a large tub with jets. We ordered the breakfast and we were delighted when it was delivered to our room exactly at 9 am. Excellent breakfast!
