Nice place and easy access to restaurants in area. Prices for rooms are reasonable.

Did not book directly through hotel,(huge mistake) as we would have departed after the first night but our card was used for a 3 night stay. A couple traveling with us had a similar experience. At check in, room had not been cleaned…toothpaste in sink, medication on floor under sink, etc. Our room did not have a usable TV remote. The desk clerk tried 3 different remotes with the last one having a taped back! In 3 days, no one came to provide a proper device so we needed to leave TV on one channel and turn off/on manually. There was no service….no one checked our room. Wastebaskets not emptied, towels not tended too, supplies not replenished. We paid a substantial amount with very little service. Management needs to follow through on these inadequacies. I would not recommend this establishment.

The room we were placed in initially was dirty and smelled overwhelmingly of cologne. The lampshade was in pieces and everything was sticky, coated with a layer of dirt. We got moved to another room. This room was in better shape overall but was also very dirty, and had a relatively milder moldy smell. The shower had sticky residue on it and visible stains. If we were not staying for just one night prior to a flight, with no other options, I would have asked for a refund and gone somewhere else. We paid over $200 for this room, too. The desk staff were pleasant to deal with and tried to help, but it seems to me like this hotel needs the upper management to mandate a deep clean and updating of the rooms.

Bad. Dirty room needed lots repairs. Entryway door concrete broken up, ripped a wheel off my suitcase. Front desk man very nice, went out of his way to supply everything. Bedding clean, bed comfortable. Towels stained. Very disappointing

Over the last 12 years we have stayed here a few dozen times. After our visit last week we will not be back. Maintenance and cleaning is terrible. When we went into the room it was obvious the shower had not been cleaned. There were several water logged tissues in the bath tub. Everything was dirty. At about 2 AM we were woke up by loud banging on our door. This was followed with 15 minutes of shouting and profanity until the police arrived. This hotel seems to be catering to the homeless.

Room was filthy. If I had turned on all the lights the night before so I could see the state of the room, I would have gotten my money back and gone elsewhere. Toe nail clippings on the floor in numerous places. I left a message in the dirt on the headboard of the bed. Behind the toilet was filthy, and when I wiped up the bathroom floor after a shower in the morning the towel was black with dirt. Shower drain was clogged with hair. I’ve stayed there many times over the years but will not do so again. It won’t let me load all my photo but I would not stay here again if the room was offered for free.

I am new to writing reviews, but need to warn others about this hotel. It is a dirty, rundown dump. The lobby and room had a very unpleasant smell. The exit door on our floor could be entered by merely pushing on the door, and the upper lock in our room was broken off. The carpet was filthy with stains all over. Etc, etc. We had planned to stay here, also, on our return trip to Glacier NP, but cancelled our reservation immediately.

This was one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at in my life. Where do I begin? Upon arrival, good luck, finding a desk clerk, or any employee of the hotel. When we did, we were told that she was only there, because there was no one else around and it was her day off. She was nice but not very helpful. The hallways were dirty, full of garbage and they smelled. The rooms had sticky floors (gross) coffee maker, but no coffee pot, limited towels, no Kleenex and a half a roll of toilet paper. Oh wait did I also tell you that there was no soap? Even though it was a warm evening guess what? The air conditioner didn’t work. In addition, there were no window screens, so you could not leave your window open. Instead of curtains, they had a sheet hung over the window, which didn’t work so well in the early morning hours at blocking light. They were unable to repair it (because they didn’t try), and we were not offered a replacement room. You also had the fun experience of getting locked out of your room in the morning because the keys didn’t work anymore and once again, no one at the desk to talk to about it Moving on to the “continental breakfast“ it consisted of toast, yogurt and cereal, as long as you didn’t mind the half empty gallon of milk, sitting on the counter, which was unrefrigerated and supposedly to be used for your cereal. We took a pass on breakfast and went to a high-end establishment called McDonald’s. I would avoid this hellhole at all costs.

Was looking to keep expenses down on this particular trip so decided to go budget. This hotel was the best price for the room so I decided to try it. CON: I did not feel it was the cleanest place, including the rooms. The toilet was great if you are 4ft tall, the bed moves a lot, I secured it to the wall by putting a chair in front of it to stop it from rolling. Did not like the fact that every time I washed my hands I had to lean into the shower for soap, that was a pain. Ice bucket gross. My room kind of smelled like smoke also. I believe though that was coming from people standing outside by the air conditioner by my room and smoking. When they were not there I did not smell anything. PRO: So after the initial shock per say, I normally do not stay in budget hotels. I actually really started to like the place. The price was right, and winding down with the end of summer it will be cheaper also. They did offer free breakfast. I felt that presentation could use some work, but hey, it is free. The coffee in the lobby was great, I loved it and I love my coffee. Best of all, I slept like a baby. I fond the bed to be very comfortable, that is important. The air conditioner worked great in the room. It is a decent location, pretty much right in the middle of any direction you want to go in town. I usually go all directions so was very convenient for me. Most importantly was the staff, they were great!!!! If I had to take a guess local Montana folks. I will always support the locals vs everyone who has moved into the valley. Ugh! They made me feel like I was at home and I loved that. Also, I decided to stay a second night and they were pretty full but still worked it out to help accommodate me. When I go back and am looking to keep costs down, I would for sure stay at this property again.
