Rhapsody Hotel & Spa Kalkan

The Rhapsody is a gorgeous little boutique hotel with the friendliest staff and fabulous views of the sea and Kalkan from the pool as well as the rooms. We loved the breakfast (lots of choice!), the lunches by the pool, the room (spacious, very clean, great air-conditioning, towels changed and room serviced regularly), and the super-clean pool with comfortable sunbeds, plenty of parasols and a poolside bar. But what makes the place special is its staff! Osge, the manager, was exceptionally helpful - even making contact with the 'KAPSA' ( A Street Animal Charity) for us when we were concerned about a poorly cat in the town, following its progress and helping us to find a vet who would treat it. She even offered to go and find the cat when she had finished for the day and take it to the vet for us, as we were on holiday! Also, Gamse, on reception, spoke directly with a friend at KAPSA for us. And both continued to enquire about the cat during the rest of our stay - and made sure we had contact numbers to check on its progress after our return home! We were so impressed with such fantastic customer service - above and beyond, for sure! The kitchen and bar staff were also attentive and friendly - we greatly appreciated the personal poolside service and delicious iced frappes! And to top it all, Osge arranged late check-out when she found out we had airport pickup late pm, which made our last day really relaxed. It is no wonder that this lovely little hotel gets many returners - we will definitely be among them. This is my second time staying at the Rhapsody Hotel and it definitely will not be my last. I am a Travel Agent in the UK and operate my own business and I would highly recommend due to the location, the cleanliness of the whole Hotel, comfort of the bedrooms and the staff, they are passionate about their job and are just a gorgeous team of people lead by a very lovely Manageress Ozge. The swimming pool and sunbeds are perfect and I hope that as this season progresses the Rhapsody will achieve 4* status.

We stayed at the Rhapsody Hotel for 16 nights, very warm welcome on arrival, where we were shown to our room, the view at night was good but even better the following morning looking over the sea and harbour. We were very well looked after by the Manager, Özge Rüzgar, ( thanks for all your helpful tips and advice) Yaren & Chef Alihan and all the other team members. The breakfast each morning was good and the lunches we had at the hotel during our stay were excellent. Yaren runs the pool bar and is very charming & friendly. The rooms are well kept by the excellent cleaning team. Location is about 10-15 minute walk to the old town. We hope to return one day. Thanks for the chocolate cake Yaren😁

If you are looking to stay in Kalkan and are questioning where... Stop now..... We have stayed in the Hotel Regency and The Lykia Spa Hotel to name a few in Kalkan.... The Rhapsody is absolutely perfectly ran this small boutique hotel is a beautiful blend of family run but professionally presented the rooms are beautifully kept and aircon is amazing for those really balmy nights... The views from the balcony are the best in Kalkan... Breathtaking whilst taking that morning coffee... Breakfast is stunning and prepared fresh every day... Beds and linen soooooo comfortable and the best shower and hot water we have experienced in the 10 years in Kalkan holidays... Location is 10 min walk to beach clubs and harbour and 5 mins to resteraunts and cafes... It really doesn't get much better than this... The manager here at this hotel knows what she is doing and is on site at all times every day and her staff are family to her and it shows as everyone wants to do an amazing job and does ... Don't question your choice this hotel is a real find.. We will be returning next year 100 percent... Maybe Oct this year if we can.... Congratulations to all at the Rhapsody and thankyou for helping us recover from a very tough 6 months... We will be back thank you xxx

Well located in quite area, with stunning views. The rooms are immaculate, very well appointed and spotlessly cleaned each day, by a very friendly cleaning team. The pool area has beautiful views. The pool is very nice with ample very comfortable sunbeds. Breakfast offers an exceptionally vast Turkish breakfast, with a nod to English breakfast if required. The bar area adjacent to the pool is very well stocked. The biggest plus to this hotel is the staff, manager Ozge is inspirational, she has a very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable team assisting her in running a beautiful hotel. We had a fantastic two weeks returning home today. You can walk to the harbour a down hill stroll in 6-7mins. Overall an exceptionally well run hotel, thank you for a lovely holiday. Neil & Joan.

First time at this hotel and only our second time in Kalkan. We really enjoyed our 9 night stay. The hotel is a 10 min stroll into Kalkan Old Town. Our room 1101 was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The pool was immaculate with a nice bar area and snacks were reasonably priced. The hotel staff were very hospitable and nothing was too much trouble for them. My only negative was the breakfast, it was very limited. I have been going to Turkey for many years and usually breakfast would consist of at least a choice of eggs, omelettes, a variety of yoghurts and different breads. The toaster was not adequate either. That said all the other good things far outweighed any bad & I would recommend this hotel and will return.
