Cathrin Hotel

Really bad hotel, disgusting too. The food is the same every day and it is disappointing same with drinks. They never clean the rooms neither the pool you can’t see the bottom of the pool at all. We also had bugs in our room we all got bumps on our skin that itched. We was lucky to get a fan because I talked to people there and they said their room didn’t have any ac.

On arrival at 11pm our 1st impressions of the room were not good. Very basic and poor quality furniture. My husband had food poisoning after being there 24 hours. Myself and our daughter also started to feel unwell during our time there. Bathroom was terrible with paint coming off the door and a very old fashioned hairdryer. Dirty around doorframe. 1 very hard bed and the other bed was too soft. Food at the hotel was not good and ended up eating out even although we were all inclusive. We asked for the room to be cleaned and when we returned they had given clean but old, stained towels but the bed and bathroom hadn’t been touched. We tried to clean our selves with the toilet roll and next morning asked again to clean the toilet after talking to reception. Arriving later it had been cleaned but they didn’t clean behind the toilet seat and they used the shower gel to clean the toilet. Small bottles provided by hotel which we didn’t use. The pool at first was the best part of the hotel easy to get a sunbed, pool looked amazing with clear water until half way through the pool water went cloudy and after complaining was told it’s safe to go into the water. No it wasn’t. There had been no water testing which should be carried out daily and we ended up using the outside showers to cool down. Drink was poor, entertainment was poor. Not starting until 9.30/9.45pm and wasn’t very good. Many other guest felt the same way and would not return to this hotel. No way is this a 4 star hotel. Luck if a 2 star Hotel. Such a shame as in a beautiful location.

Hotel situated close to wonderful Ladiko Beach and Anthony Quinn bay, both walking distance. The Hotel is clean and provides buffet style breakfast, lunch and dinner with a wide selection of food including a salad bar and a wide range of deserts. The room I stayed in was clean and tidy although tired in places and could do with a touch up. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

I had a 5 day stay here with as part of a large group. After reading reviews there was some concern, however they were generally unfounded. The hotel is bright, clean & airy. The food was good with a catering for dietary needs. The staff were all very helpful & keen that we enjoyed our visit with the manager visible & present around the hotel during the day. The pool had lots of loungers and a lovely place to relax. The bedroom was clean as was the bedding & towels . The hotel was a little “tired” in places due to age & sun damage however this did not impact on our stay. Outside the hotel is a bus stop with routes to Rhodes town & the beach. Close by is another bus stop taking you to Lindos. Anthony Quinn bay & Ladiko beach are both walking distance ( 20 mins). I would be happy to stay here again.

DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL. we booked evita resort and were then out booked to the Cathrin hotel. We were placed in a disgusting room, after complaining they still didn’t move us. They showed us a second room which was literally the same as the last one. 1. The balcony room door was jammed and my friend got locked out. She didn’t have anyone to come and fix it so my friend had to climb over to the other balcony to get into the room which was a safety hazard 2 the rooms were disgusting, we had mould in our bathroom. The room was never cleaned even when I requested it. All they did was make the bed. 3 all inclusive stops at 11pm 4 food options terrible, not suitable for vegetarians 5 we had ants in our room which were all found in my bag, we then had to leave this outside. Reported and nothing changed. We were the greeted by ants at the dinner table. A full infestation, even the staff member was shocked. 6. Room was a 2*, awful sheets and decor. Not as described from the pictures. False advertisement. 7. No manager was ever present. 8. Broken subbed On a positive note, the animation team were lovely. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone in your 20-30s

Yeah not great!!!! Only stayed one night after a cancelled flight and one was enough I'm afraid. Not clean at all, stains on the toilet and shower tray. Very basic accommodation. Breakfast was mediocre at best. Some staff were friendly others not so much. Aircon kicked in after an hour or so. Quite remote, a car or taxi is needed. This is based on one night stay but I wouldn't stay here.
