I have stayed at many 3 star hotels in Greece 🇬🇷 and this is our 3rd stay in Lesvos (previously staying in Petra) and unfortunately this is the worst. The hotel is very tired, with many maintenance issues throughout the hotel eg wood surround hanging off above door, handles missing off drawers, bath screen not moving. The grounds of the hotel needs attention and looks very unkept. Looks like the staff have given up. Breakfast was typical continental. No atmosphere and it's not good that a very young girl is serving at the poolside bar. Not professional. Unfortunately I will not be returning.

Agree with the one of the latest reviews. The teenagers (around 20 or so) were a bit of a pain. It put guests off sitting round the pool. Food wasn't great, very limited choice. We ate out a couple of evenings. Only a few guests there which was nice. Bathrooms a bit shabby. The worst thing for me was the bed, rock hard. I tried using a fleecy blanket on top of the mattress to make it softer but it didn't help. Don't dare complain about anything or you'll get short shrift as I witnessed with a couple of other guests. The resort is nice but there are better hotels.

exceptional for relaxation and families. the enormous premises that surround the hotel are highly covered by flowers and trees. there is a zoo as well! children cannot get bored during tgeir stay, but above everything , is the sincere kindness of the family running the hotel. heartwarming people always available to assist you. if you wish a ptofoundly nice vacation do come here!! furrhermore the island has a great variety of sceneries , activities,historical sites to enjoy during your stay.highly recommended!!

On arrival the hotel looked ok but when we went in our room it was obvious we had made an error of judgment. After reading some of the other 5 star reviews we thought we had booked a lovely traditional greek hotel but i can only assume these reviewers have never been abroad before if they think this hotel is nice. The room itself was bearable but the food at breakfast and dinner was way below standard in choice variety and quality so much so that we ate out after the first few days. The pool area was ok except for swimming lessons for the local children every morning and then to top it off the local teenagers came late afternoon and used the pool having said that this was the only time you could get any service at the pool bar and in the evening there was nobody available for drinks in the hotel bar. The resort itself was lovely and had many nice inexpensive restaurants and bars so our holiday was not ruined. We will be returning next year to this beautiful resort but definitely staying elsewhere. I am very disappointed with Jet2 as i expected much better having travelled with them for many years.

The Malemi hotel is absolutely gorgeous! It's in a perfect location with it being only a couple minutes away from the beach by foot. The food is all amazing, with fresh vegetables and fruit grown on the property, and bread baked at a local bakery every morning. I can't recommend the Malemi highly enough!

It’s been a lovely stay here at the malemi! It’s family run. The staff and everyone here is so nice and accommodating to your needs. It’s a organic hotel so the food you eat is grown in the garden out back! The food is absolutely amazing and I highly recommend. I had a great time here at the malemi. It’s also not a far walk from some some local shops and the beach!

I genuinely felt so at home here. Some fellow researchers, professors and I were blessed with the opportunity to stay here for 2 months. George and his family made all of us feel so welcome. I could not imagine such a wonderful trip without them. Thank you Malemi!! ＜3

This is the second time I have visited Malemi hotel and the third time the rest of the family have been. I’ve seen and heard lots of reviews and sadly there are some people who believe that even if they pay for 3* experience, they expect one with a rather higher rating. The hotel is clean, the rooms are clean, the staff are wonderful, the food is simple, home cooked, organic and exceptional. Yes, there are things that you may not think are right but this is also a community meeting spot - the locals come and meet around the pool, kids have swimming lessons, that only adds to the atmosphere. We have met some lovely people here, and we will be back again. Lesvos is one of the nicest places I have visited and I highly recommend it.

Malemi Hotel is a wonderful place to stay whether you are here with your kids or friends! The staff are so welcoming and treat you like you are family. The food is excellent. There is always a large variety of options for everyone to eat, and most of the food is from their garden and farm. Very fresh and delicious food! Rooms are very clean as well! You can't beat the 5 minute walk to the beach where you can swim or just relax in clear blue water. I would highly recommend for anyone to stay here if you want a quiet and fun place to stay that feels like home away from home. Thank you Malemi!
