Spongia Apartments Kalymnos

This was a flying visit to town so we were at the ferry port so we could only stay one night. This accommodation was marvellous and we really wish we could have stayed longer. If ever we are back in the area we will stay here without a doubt. The lady who looks after the place is possibly the most friendly and helpful hotel employee I’ve ever met. Even before we arrived, the level of support and communication was top class and she did everything to make us stay wonderful. It is the highest accommodation in Pothia and when you’re down at the harbour you look back up And you can see where you are staying. We walked into the centre which took about 15 minutes but it is best to get a taxi back up which costs €7. The apartment itself was reasonably small, but brilliantly laid out and extremely comfortable. There is a mini bar, great shower, The air-conditioning was excellent and the bed very comfy. We had a very good night sleep and went to bed and woke up with views which were just beautiful of the harbour. The breakfast was served at whatever time you wanted it and set it up nicely for the day. Our hotel friend even gave us a lift down to the port which was very much appreciated indeed. Highly recommended indeed.

We visited the apartment from kos, with my partner for one night in our day off. It was the best day off ever. The room was very clean, the host has put on our bed a package with hygiene products and two sponges. The view is breathtaking and you can enjoy your breakfast watching it on your balcony. The staff, Voula Litsa and Migues (hope we wrote your names correctly), are very polite and friendly, pure of heart and whatever we needed they were there for us. Me and my best friend had an excellent stay in one of Spongia’s beautiful apartments. The staff greeted us very kindly, the rooms were beautiful with a stunning view and breakfast was neatly included. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice and affordable stay in Kalymnos.

Excellent accueil à votre arrivée au port de Kalymnos, où l’on vient vous récupérer pour vous emmener à l’hôtel. La vue est magnifique, mais du coup l'hôtel est situé très haut sur la colline, et on adopte vite un véhicule pour descendre et remonter à l’hôtel. Les chambres sont spacieuses et offrent tout le confort avec sa grande salle d’eau. La terrasse de la chambre est grande, équipée d’une table et de deux chaises Le petit déjeuner est servi en terrasse à l’extérieur. Seul reproche, le petit déjeuner n’est pas très varié. Le choix de cet endroit est surtout pour le confort des chambres et la vue exceptionnelle sur le port et la ville de Kalymnos.

Πάνω από τα δωμάτια βρίσκεται ένα καφέ μπαρ που λειτουργεί από νωρίς το πρωί ως τις πρώτες πρωινές ώρες με μουσική και πολύ φασαρία. Μην διανοηθείτε να ενοικιάσετε αυτοκίνητο διότι δεν υπάρχει χώρος στάθμευσης και η είσοδος για τα δωμάτια είναι ακριβώς πάνω στον δρόμο. ΥΓ Κλήση απο τροχαία 60€
