Best Hotel in Kampot
Don’t stay in room 2 it’s under the bar and the bass beats start at 7am and go to the wee hours
Food is good staff is friendly expats are over the top rude and I even heard a guy yell “the south will rise again” so ya, we know why he’s out here
But you won’t find a more central location, cooler rooms (neat little balconies) or a better DVD collection, anywhere in South East Asia
Happy hour rules here
Don’t make a mistake and stay somewhere else

Came here for food and drinks (didn't stay at the hotel). Very delicious food with great views of the road and river. They also have good happy-hour specials. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kampot. Prices we very reasonable for the quality.

Great position on the river in Kampot. The room has everything you need and is good for the price. Good bed if you like a very firm mattress. The real star here is the Rikitikitavi Restaurant and Bar which overlooks the river and has excellent food and drinks/cocktails at a great price. Good spot to watch the sunset and don't miss happy hour! After sampling this one on the first night we didn't bother to eat elsewhere! Special mention to the staff who are super friendly and helpful, and especially to Pat, an absolute gem who is a wealth of information about Kampot and helped us organise tours while we were there.

What a great spot, right on the river. Sit and watch the world go by with 2 for 1 cocktails from 5pm to 7pm. Great food and lovely staff. Western style and Cambodian menu, highly recommended. Clean and pretty setting. We just kept going back 😊 Will be back again

This is a lovely hotel in the centre of Kampot on the waterfront. We booked last minute when the original hotel we booked wasn't what we expected. Rikitikitavi has a charm about it, and we enjoyed our stay. Rooms were quirky and although ours was quite small, the kids had a two double bed room which was quite large. Location is fantastic and I think what makes this hotel special is the upstairs bar/restaurant area looking down on the riverfront. This area is a great place to hang out for drinks/food/games and we did that as a family. This hotel doesn't have a pool, which we missed, but this upstairs area was really lovely. Staff were welcoming and lovely. I think for a well priced, mid comfort option in the middle of Kampot, this is a really good choice.

Stayed here recently. Pros.. conveniently located on the riverfront promenade, clean rooms, comfortable beds, good air-conditioning, excellent WiFi speed. Cons... Shower curtain required in the bathroom - the floor gets really messy after a shower, measly portions in their onsite restaurant, poor service in the restaurant... local staff spend more time on their phones and gossip rather than attending to customers.

Very good value hotel overlooking the river. Quite basic rooms but clean. Bathroom could be better and air conditioning took a long time to cool the room. Bar has daily happy hour. Dinner was excellent and nice breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Lovely little place which genuinely cares about their guests. Lovely rooms that are clean & spacious hotel in a great location. Food is very very good and the staff are great are fantastic fun - always smiling, always helpful and often very up for a laugh.

Best location in Kampot. Right on the river walk. Rooms are updated, comfortable and clean with good Wi FI and CNN. Breakfast comes with the room rate, and is excellent. Great restaurant for happy hour or dinner. Excellent staff and service. Ask for a room in the back to avoid street noise.
