Villa Vedici recensioner

Location is amazing and very beautiful with river view, great for sunset and sunrise watching, but the hotel is not clean considering the price. We see the waste from kitchen and toilets are going down the river, our room is facing the river, we can see waste floating on the river at the corner and by the edge. The staffs should be more proactive to clean and get the floating waste and plastic out of the river by their guest house. Room is not clean, some dirt and stains on the bedsheets and towels they gave. Reception was not friendly and no one was there when we arrived, we had to wait and raised our voice to call for someone to come and check us in.

It was the first time I had chosen the wrong place for my family to find a villa, but there was no air conditioning. Check the mail and wait for the house to be cleaned, the price is not cheap $ 120 per night, but there is no air conditioning

5 minutes tuk tuk away from town centre, nice, friendly and helpful staff. Overall clean hotel however does have some bugs. Restaurant available for breakfast and dinner. Alternatively order delivery for lunch.

C est un lieu magnifique au bord de la rivière! Un staff et un boss super sympa comme on aime!! Rien à redire! Si ce n est de conseillé cette villa Merci encore pour être hospitalité et votre sourire Soizic et stephane

I purchased a superior (more expensive) room. The AC and fan in were broken. I went to reception to ask for help, I was met with outright hostility from the owner himself, who told me “go leave my property, I’m not going to bend over backwards for you.” This level of unprofessionalism and disrespect is unacceptable. He could have simply given me a fan and apologised. He refused. To make matters worse, the owner was very drunk and aggressive . His aggressive and erratic behavior made me feel unsafe. It was clear he had no concern for the well-being of his guests. I have lived in Cambodia for a long time, spending time in villages and understanding the local culture. This experience at villa Vidici was completely out of line with the hospitality I have come to expect. In addition to the broken appliances, my room was permeated by a strong sewer smell, rat holes, and rat droppings. The property was paradise: now a dump. Not to mention flooding in bathroom. And broken screen fixed with just toilet paper. Never stay here

A lovely old hotel on the river bank. We had a king river view room with its own patio. It was very comfortable and well appointed although the shower was quite weak. The staff were very pleasant and efficient. The hotel is a bit run down in some places but for the price it was an excellent option and to be frank it felt very comfortable. Only a short tuk tuk ride in to town with loads of restaurants and bars.

Villa Vedici exudes an unparalleled rustic charm with Kampot river and Mount Bakor in its backyard. A boat ride upstream Kampot river is a MUST-DO. Room in the garden house is quiet and comfortable, villa staff are very helpful, food is great, couldnt ask for more. Will definitely be back.

A Wonderfull place for holidays with the family! Real nice place by the River , where you can do diferents things and activities. Workes are really nice and they help you for everithing you need. Is a fifteen minuts to the Center with tuctuc. I recomded this places to everyone!

Great little place to stay. Relaxed and quiet. Easy swimming in the river or in one of the 2 pools they have. Some facilities could do with a bit of an upgrade, but generally great value for money. Close to everywhere and staff really nice. Have been back a few times.

Sadly the manager was more interested in entertaining himself than in maintaining the property. This could be a fabulous hotel. It is located on the edge of the riverside. The bar could be ideal except some of the furniture is broken and the manger does not seem to notice. He was in the bar. On the plus side the hotel organised a great bar B , Q . The games room could be great, except it is now old, dirty and knackered. Yu will see the photos. The place is shoddy. Our first bedroom was dreadful. The website phots are 10 years out of date. It needs extensive maintenance. There is junk left all over the place and the stairs are a safety hazard
