Bethel Rest Homestay recensioner

A lovely homestay in the hills just above the centre of Kandy. A little difficult to find but only five minutes in a taxi from the train station. Friendly, welcoming couple and a very tasty breakfast. Highly recommended.

Very nice home stay place with an amazing view and very friendly people who are happy to help you! If you coming to Kandy , I highly recommend you this guest house!

Неплохой отель вдали от городской суеты, на такси( машине) везти не хотят из-за сложной дороги, только тук-тук. Отель предоставляет трансфер, но нужно договариваться заранее. Завтрак очень скудный, не наешься ( фрукты, немного лепестки, пусто рис и тост с джемом, повезёт будет маленькая яичница). Если поедете на экскурсии, берите с собой еду, не найдетесь на ланч-бокс, он просто никакой. Из хорошего, в отели можно заказать такси в Полоннарува, Дамбулла, Сигерия за 49$, цена очень хорошая. Хозяева очень приветливы, но не против немного обсчитать вас, будьте внимательны.

에어컨이 없어서 아쉬웠지만 고지대에 있어서 시원하고 아주 좋았습니다. 에어컨없이도 이정도 시원하다는게 정말 신기했어요! 다음에 캔디에 방문을 한다면 다시한번 오고 싶어요!! 큰계획없이 와서 질문을 많이했는데 사장님이 정말 친절했습니다! 감사합니다 It was unfortunate that there was no air conditioner, but it was cool and great to be in a high place. It was amazing that it was this cool without air conditioning! If I visit Candy next time, I want to come again!! I came here without any plans and asked a lot of questions, but the boss was really nice! 這是一個非常有趣而且充滿活力的家庭。極具音樂以及藝術的氛圍。小朋友得到了女主人的樂器啟蒙。主人非常得體而且善於交談。早餐很新鮮。我會推薦有小朋友的家庭來這裏住幾晚。

急な坂の上にありますがそのおかげで排気ガスを感じず、バルコニーからの眺めと鳥の鳴き声が最高です。夕食は$8でした。家庭料理がとてもおいしかったです。

高原の上に有り、景色も良い。空気も素晴らしいし、爽やかな風が心地良い。部屋はとっても綺麗で、フレンドリーです。お勧めしたいホテルです。 高原の上に有るので、急な坂の連続です。ウーバータクシーでトゥクトゥクを呼んでも拒否される事が有ります。オーナーが親切で街まで送ってくれました。

衞生：不錯，但有一寸多長的大蟑螂。 環境：很好，倚山而建，可以看到小鎮風光。 服務：挺好的，主意如要洗衣，可以交給房東洗，但沒有自助洗衣服務。 設施：一般，熱水器是儲水型熱水器，容量很小，不夠一個人洗，而且要預先加熱二十分鐘，每洗一個人都要等二十分鐘。

8.4日 早晨，在小鳥美妙的啼叫中醒來，一個在斯里蘭卡康堤附近的山村裡的觀景房裡，這房間很乾凈，整潔，並且裝飾的有品位。這家的主人好客，和藹，一看就是勤勞，能幹，且有品位的人，看到她家的全家照片，她有三個孩子，她的大兒子，已在澳大利亞上完大學畢業了，第二個孩子是女兒，21歲，在康堤做職員工作，第三個是兒子，正在上學。 早晨5：45，隔着窗户，聽到了山裡的雨聲。很快雨停了，接着有清脆的鳥鳴聲，有啄木鳥的聲音，不知什麼發出來的嘀嗒聲，偶爾傳來的狗吠聲等等難以形容的聲音。我迫不及待的穿好衣服，往陽台奔去。在陽台上，眺望白色的康堤城 ，回望是親近自然的大山和綠樹，感受新鮮的空氣，遠處星星點點的，穿過樹葉的燈光。

You should stay at least two days, possibly longer. The rooms are very spacious and bright and friendly, the location is great for discovering Kandy, and the breakfast is delicious. The family is very warm-hearted and knowledgeable about Kandy and Sri Lanka. We did the cooking class and can't wait to try out some of the dishes at home.

A well-presented mid-price family-run homestay in a leafy neighbourhood above Kandy. The 3 rooms are simple but comfortable, with private bathrooms, fans and aircon. The largest room has a private balcony; there is a shared terrace for other guests’ use. Tasty meals are available. The host family is helpful. To reach the guesthouse, you should be prepared for a 20-minute uphill walk from the town centre, or to hire a tuk-tuk: you will appreciate the calm and the clean air when you arrive.

A beautiful home and caring hosts is how I describe Bethel homestay. We stayed with Rasika and Dilini early last week. Our first day in Srilanka and had a wonderful time. The home is clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Dilini and Rasika are loving hosts and food they prepare is the best you will have while in Srilanka. A must in your itinerary. We came back with great memories and already talking about our return 😃

We felt welcome from the first minute. It was great to be included in Rasjika and Dilini's home. What incredible welcoming and lovely people. We were there a few days before Christmas, which is the busiest time of the year for a pastor. And yet, all attention to us and our need. The food was delicious. We did a cooking workshop and before that together in shopping at the market. Learned a lot! Together, we attended a church service on Christmas Eve, then had a nice dinner out and once at home played cake, tea and games with the whole family. This was a Christmas Eve to remember. There were 5 of us as a family and when we had to say goodbye it was hard for us. Our youngest could barely hold back his tears, and that says enough about the 3 days we were able to share with this lovely family. Highly recommended to stay here when you want to learn about Sri Lanka and the people who live here. It is a totally different experience than a hotel, We would not have missed it for the world!

We had a wonderful time at the bethel rest homestay. The family is so sweet and nice and extremely helpful. It really was the best and coziest homestay on my trip. Our room had it’s own balcony and we saw kandy from the mountains. We stayed two nights and got expierences local culture and had the best coffee in Sri Lanka. The breakfast was delicious. Great place to stay for your time in kandy. I can only highly recommend staying in bethel rest homestay!
