W15 Hanthana Estate Kandy

酒店集團規模不大但在斯里蘭卡各地設有精品酒店。這家w15位於kandy附近，旁邊有個射擊俱樂部白天會聽到tatata槍聲。 酒店本身不大，一棟住房 一棟主樓。風景的話看着大山，有點江浙滬那種味兒。 早午晚三餐都吃的不錯。活動方面可選擇徒步，騎行，網球或者坐吉普車去登高高。 特別注意的是該酒店渠道價格不一 要認真對比價格

這個酒店管理問題很多：（1）歧視中國客人，我們八月就付款了全款預訂元旦房間，不允許退款，不支持改簽；但是臨入住前兩天突然告訴我們沒房了，把我們安排到半小時以外的King Pavilion ；（2）毫無時間觀念，要求十一點半吃飯，早上點菜，十二點才能吃上； 酒店環境非常好，酒水免費，三餐全包，就是服務太差。

We had an amazing stay at the W15. Though the stay was short, the staff Hastha, Tharaka, Navod, Manjula made sure we are well looked after. Food was outstanding. Perfect place to escape the busy life and relax looking out to the mountain range in the distance. Rooms are cozy and spacious. We will surely come back.

Quiet sophisticated accommodation and the staff of Manjula Hastha Tharaka Navod Were simply stellar. Drinks by the fireside after spectacular dining that was almost Michelin star quality. A rare find and most memorable. The on site naturalist is extremely well informed.

Pros: - utterly beautiful location. The views are such that you can just sit there drinking it in for hours - rooms are spacious and had an old world charm - lots of walking and hiking trails nearby. Hotel is right on the pekoe trail - good variation in food. We were always so full! Also really enjoyed their high tea. - the staff were warm and attentive Potential areas for improvement - the service was slow during meal times. We had to wait at least 15-20 min from the time we requested meals until we were served. - the road leading up to the hotel is very narrow. Thankfully we don’t encounter another vehicle when we were driving through but I did feel slightly anxious on how we would manage if we did! We did the all inclusive option which I would recommend as it includes meals, drinks, high tea and also excursions. Overall, such a relaxing stay.

The suit and location were excellent, and we had high expectations for our stay. However, we were disappointed with the food, which didn’t match the luxury experience we expected. We were hoping for dishes like steak or lamb, but the menu featured biryani, grilled fish, and vegetarian pasta, which felt out of place. Unfortunately, the taste was underwhelming, with the biryani and high-tea items and even the rice and curry needing improvement. To add this, soup served cold. We hope the menu will be enhanced to include more premium dishes and better reflect the overall standard of the property. While the location and comfort deserve an 8/10, the food was a 2/10. That said, we’re willing to give it another try in the future and hope for an improved dining experience.
