Hatale Mini World's End Bungalow

When you book at room at Mini World's End bungalow you actually get the whole bungalow to yourself. It is a lovely spacious bungalow in the style of an old tea estate bungalow and is set in a beautiful established garden with mature trees and shrubs. The views from the bungalow are amazing. The verandah provides stunning views towards the Knuckles Mountain Range and the valley below. The bungalow is surrounded by tea bushes on all sides and sits at an elevation which avoids the need for air-conditioning. The trees around the bungalow are full of birds and the only sounds you hear most of the time are those of birdsong. It is an incredibly peaceful and tranquil place. The room we occupied was spacious and comfortable with a pleasant seating area and attached bathroom. We had access to a large lounge and dining room and the wonderful balcony with those fabulous views. We had a cook allocated to us who made delicious Sri Lankan breakfasts, dinners and snacks. Akram, the manager, was very welcoming and helpful and made our stay very enjoyable. We would have no hesitation in recommending this place to others and are looking forward to returning there one day.

Full of great views. Clean, spacious, friendly staff, good food, many activities to do (badminton, carom, hiking etc) Only con is that the road is not very good to get to the top and definitely needs a 4wheel drive. and the price could be lowered just a little bit for the whole bungalow too.
