Aqua Dunhinda Villa

Had a wonderful time at this place and would highly recommend for family or friends getaway. The road is damaged due to a nearby construction site, so be careful if you are traveling in a car with low ground clearance . Google Maps navigation is accurate. Property is nice and well maintained. The villa had three rooms with double bed and one single bed, kitchen with all the equipment and utensils, large living area and a pool. If you bring the groceries the staff will prepare the meals for you. It is better to make those arrangements before visiting due to the remote location of the villa. Staff is nice and friendly.

The location was really charm and quiet, however the person who was in charge of the villa didn't provide us with proper information and wanted us to bring all the dry rations in order to prepare food. (from sugar, milk, pepper salt) etc. we had to carry everything with us which was a huge hazel. later we did get to know that they had an Al la carte menu, had they informed us about this prior to our arrival we wouldn't go through the trouble of carrying them all the way to Gampola from Colombo. We observed that they were trying to run the operation with very few staff and we had to ask for certain room amenities which are normally provided at any villa/hotel free of charge. apart from the above mentioned everything else was really good especially the location wise. My suggestion is they really need to improve a lot in their service standards . Personally i believe the location and the staff has a lot of potential to make everything perfect for the guests.
