I stayed for 1 night during a 3 day tour of the area. It is located outside of Kandy city, in the hills. I arrived in the dark but the view from the balcony was amazing even at that time. I wish I had known I could’ve watched the sun rise early in the morning. I’m sure it would’ve been incredible. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room was basic but had everything I needed for a 1 night stay. The bed was comfortable and the A/C was good. Breakfast was freshly prepared - I enjoyed the fruit juice.

This is a quiet hotel located on a hillside close to Kandy. Its was a bit difficult to find but the view from the balconies made it worthwhile. The meal menu was limited, the rooms rather basic and the service staff very inexperienced. breakfast was good. Same day laundry service was provided at a reasonable cost.

Up the staircase we go through a corridor that features an area that is supposed to be a sitting area, but is cluttered with stuff that seems to be laying about. We are shown into our room with good working A/C and fan but the beige walls and simple furniture with a nightstand at only one side of the bed is a sad sight. The bathroom is cramped and mind your step as there are multiple differences in hight of the floor. If you suffer from dust mite, make sure to bring your medication, you are going to need it. Only one outlet in the room uses the standard british type plug. We requested adapters to be able to use the outlets next to the bed. They only brought one and above all, it was for a british plug which we had ourselves and did not fit... Sigh! The breakfast is english-style breakfast (eggs/sausage, tea/coffee, toast jam&butter, juice) but quality was subpar to what we experienced in other hotels. Communication with staff was not easy as their command of English was subpar to what we commonly experienced in Sri Lanka.

Stayed here 3 nights and really liked it. The building is well maintained and spotlessly clean. It’s on a hill so the views are wonderful. Our bedroom had a balcony so sitting out after a day of exploring was excellent. It’s a bit out of Kandy so really quiet. The owners are lovely and very helpful. The staff were really nice too. Good breakfast.

The view from the room is amazing. The breakfast was nice as well. Good value for money. However the room had a humid smell and we had bugs in the A/C, so we couldnt sleep comfortably. The Wi-fi was quite weak as well. Friendly staff.

Incredibly friendly and attentive staff, who can and will do anything to make your stay better! The view was so amazing, with a great view of Kandy from above. Far from the hustle and bustle of Kandy, it was a very relaxing and soothing stay. Would reccomend!

Pros Very peaceful guest house, high above the hustle and bustle of busy Kandy. We enjoyed our 1 night stay here. They provided us with a delicious breakfast. All of the staff were very welcoming, helpful and kind. The bed was big and comfortable, the AC worked well and the water was nice and hot. My husband and I enjoyed sitting on the balcony, reading our books in the morning, watching the sun rise. Amazing views. It was perfect for what we needed and excellent value for money. Cons Some ants in the room. But most places in Sri Lanka so far, we’ve had a similar experiences. Overall, would recommend to family and friends and would stay again. Thank you

Great views from both the bed room and the dining room. Clean and basic, it did the job and was perfectly comfortable. En-suite bathroom with shower . Lovely breakfast , served on the patio overlooking the valley. Staff were friendly and can’t do enough for you.
