Apartments Kanegra Plava Laguna

The location is picturesque, with stunning views of the bay and Slovenia. The water is calm (no large waves), making it ideal for children to swim. The apartments are essentially bungalows. The décor and furnishings are rather simple and basic (they've seen their best days). The lack of air conditioning can be noticeable on hotter days and nights. Parking is easy – there are parking spaces in front of the cottages. The Lama Taverna is located on the premises, offering delicious and relatively affordable meals (from seafood and fish to pizza and burgers). It's a good base for exploring Istria and coastal Slovenia (e.g., Piran).

Firstly, the location is really nice, very close to the Slovenian border, and the swimming in particular is excellent; a pine forest surrounds the lagoon creating shade, and there's lots of space to base yourself. The water is very clear. In the distance you can see the Slovenian coast with the resort of Portorož across. There's a decent taverna, the fish was nice; plus another place where you can have a drink or a simple meal. There's also a small cafe on the beach. Be aware that the beach is made of quite thick and sharp stones so it's essential to have beach shoes, entering the water could pose a problem if you have poor mobility. Parking is generally available close to the apartments. Now the negatives. The staff aren't very friendly, at least in my experience. The apartment we got was rather shoddy and for 130+ euros a night we expected better. Microwave: broken. Fridge not very good. Toilet sear broke. The next day the toilet flush broke. The clothes drier was rusty and broken. The power plugs are a bit awkward (difficulty plugging my adaptor). No aircon, no fans. Limited crockery and limited glasses and cups. No carving knife. No bottle opener. Only two convection heaters to cook. Limited pans. Very basic. To be fair most of these issues were fixed when we asked, but it's not exactly good.

THE WORST pizza I have ever eaten in my life. Frozen pizza from Lidl tastes better. Horrible. Never again. It literally gave a stomach ache to my sister. I advice you to avoid this restaurant, buy something in a supermarket, it‘s a better idea.

Posto bello a livello di natura zero assoluto a livello di accoglienza appena arrivati con un cagnolino di piccola taglia il vigilantes all'esterno della reception ci intima in modo molto aggressivo che il cagnolino a casa sua non può entrare (parlando della reception). Come inizio niente male speriamo bene per il resto

Prezzi alti per i servizi che offrono …Bungalow orribili vecchi tenuti malissimo e molto sporchi il posto male non è ma è davvero tenuto molto male ed è un vero peccato visto le potenzialità del luogo… come Dice il proverbio …chi ha il pane non ha i denti !

Il villaggio in sé è molto carino ed ha un alto potenziale. C'è il campo da pallavolo, basket, minigolf, servizi per sport acquatici (pedalò, ecc..) . L'appartamento è stato molto deludente, infissi vecchi con insetti ovunque. La notte non si dormiva dalle zanzare e se si chiudeva tutto si moriva si caldo. L'appartamento era a due passi dal mare immerso nella pineta. Con un po di manutenzione la struttura potrebbe diventare di qualità.
