I had a wonderful experience at State Beach Resort in Kannur. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making my stay very comfortable. The breakfast each morning was delicious, offering a great start to the day. The resort's peaceful setting is perfect for relaxation, exactly what I was looking for. Just a heads-up, it's about an hour from the airport, so plan accordingly for early flights. Highly recommend this resort for a tranquil retreat.

Our recent stay at State Beach Resort in Payyambalam was truly delightful. The resort's prime location offers breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea, providing a serene and picturesque backdrop for relaxation. The Victorian-style architecture and well-maintained premises added to the charm of our experience. A special mention goes to Akshaya at the reception. Her warm hospitality, attentiveness, and genuine care made us feel exceptionally welcomed. From the seamless check-in process to her insightful recommendations about local attractions, Akshaya's professionalism and friendly demeanor significantly enhanced our stay. She truly embodies the essence of excellent customer service. While the resort offers a tranquil environment perfect for unwinding, we did notice that the dining options, though delicious, were somewhat limited and on the pricier side. However, the overall ambiance and the comfort of the sea-facing rooms more than compensated for this.

We had booked a two night stay in state beach resort. The property is located on top of cliff facing the serene Arabian Sea. From location point of view it is absolutely 10 on 10. Even though the option in Food section is limited and bit on pricey side, the taste is good and one can enjoy it. In terms of service and amenities, I can score it 7 out of 10. The hotel staffs are very polite and hospitable. Wanted to specifically mention about the restaurant staff Hafeez. He had been very kind and had tried to cater the requests from guests. Thank You!

I had a wonderful stay at State Beach Resort & Spa in Kannur. The room was beautifully designed with aesthetic interiors, offering a comfortable and relaxing ambiance. Waking up to the panoramic beach view right from my room was truly refreshing. The morning buffet was delightful, providing a good variety of dishes to start the day. The restaurant served delicious meals, and dining with the sea as a backdrop enhanced the experience. Overall, it’s a perfect getaway spot for those looking to unwind and enjoy the serene coastal beauty of Kannur.

The location of the hotel is good. The rooms are not maintained properly. The bathroom is not upto the mark. There is one bucket and mug kept in the bathroom. No cups available for tea in the room. The property can encash on the location if they do a bit of renovation. Food is good but they need to add some variety.

Stayed recently with family while visiting Kannur. Hotel is located at beautiful sea area and you can enjoy the sea view and light house. BUT the rooms are not worth the money we paid.Kind of old rooms, leakage of water from floor,walls were old, rooms had some strange smell.
For me especially I had a bad experience first day itself. Booked for 3 people and they just provided a thin mattress for 3 rd person which means to literally lie on floor .when asked for a foldable bed or sofa which was available in other rooms they simply refused. Next day the morning staff solved it by adding a foldable sofa in our room.but I had to take an additional room and pay 3900 extra since they didn’t provide a foldable sofa first day due to their negligence and laziness . WORST SERVICE From staff and I would seriously recommend to improve this because the hotel location is very good and will help customers to have good time overall.

Location is good but the room was really not-good.The deluxe room ac was not working.Room Service was bd no cleaning of room.The restaurant food was not that great and super expensive.Watch out of you are staying here beach is not there just sea view.
