My daughter and I stayed here when I brought her to town for the Taylor Swift Concert. When we finally managed to get into the parking lot (after having to make a u-turn, since it's on a divided highway), we were immediately crestfallen. You can tell from the condition of the exterior of the building and the parking lot that the whole property is run down. When we checked in, the desk clerk told us that our room was ready, but that housekeeping would be up "soon" with towels. The room was clean, but not sparkling, and led me to believe that minimal effort had been expended by the housekeeping staff. The air conditioner in our room was barely adequate to keep up with the humidity, so we cranked it down, but I was concerned the compressor would freeze over since it was running hard all night. When my 100 lb (soaking wet) daughter sat on the end of the bed, it folded around her like a taco shell, so the mattresses and box springs are clearly worn. I thought I might wind up on the floor when I went to bed. The shower drain was non-functional, and by the time I finished washing my hair (I have a buzz cut, BTW), I was standing in ankle-deep water. By 8:30, the breakfast bar was picked over, but given the cleanliness issues, we weren't planning to eat there anyway. For this fantastic experience, we paid $275 for one night. I will absolutely not be back.
