You have rooms of various categories and prices in this hotel/resort. We took the reasonable one as we had only one night stay and primarily wanted to visit the Vivekananda Rock Memorial in Kanyakumari with our French relatives. Good place. The best thing is its proximity to the rock memorial (walking distance) . The Coral Reef restaurant at the resort is good. Variety, quality of food and service is good. The resort also has a bar. Its just okay, nothing great.

Jayshree & Harshad Shah stayed 4 nights & 5 days Premium sea villa view , but recisim is fact , from 1st day we told them for Beer ,Scotch etc. Will pay separately for our drink, but they said no ,it's not allowed in restaurant, u can drink in another restaurant where u will get drink, these is family restaurant we don't allowed as we r ready to pay then to be in their pollicy but we have seen forriener are having Beer & they bought their own Vodka bottle & drinking in same family restaurant where we didn't get drink when we are ready to pay also , these is very shameful we Indian also paying same amount how much they're paying for a day stay then why these differences

This hotel has good potential. A lot of effort has gone into the design and walking around the grounds is a very relaxing experience. Unfortunately any sense of calm or well-being is destroyed whenever one is required to interact with a member of staff. With one or two exceptions the staff here are all very grumpy and unwilling to help. Their unofficial motto seems to be “the customer is always wrong”. Even simple requests such as asking if the front desk can change some money into smaller notes will be met with such a look of derision you come away from the encounter wondering what you did wrong in asking. There is nothing friendly or welcoming about this hotel at all. Staff act like they are doing you a favour by allowing you to be there. The worst experience of all was our encounter at the spa. A spa treatment is meant to be the ultimate in relaxation. But, as others have noted, the interaction with the manager of the spa is so difficult you would need 3 treatments in another spa just to get over the experience of meeting her. Her entire manner and modus operandi seems designed to ensure she never has to take on any customers. This hotel is aiming high in Kanyakumari - clearly targeting a market that can afford to pay “Western” prices. It has a lot to do in terms of improved customer service if it is to survive. If a Taj or other customer focussed brand were to ever open in the town then the Annai would be out of business within a year.

Average location. Beautifully maintained grounds. Beautiful room. Good breakfast. Around 10 pm while my elderly parents and I were sleeping, we could here furniture being moved giving out the screeching sound. I called the reception and asked them to see to it. But the same continued. We go to resorts to enjoy ourselves and have proper rest at night. That was the major drawback.

I stayed at Annai Resorts and Spa, Kanyakumari for one night (2nd Feb - 3rd Feb) and booked two rooms (2001, 2002). Here’s my detailed experience: 🏨 Rooms (4/5) The rooms are spacious, well-maintained, and equipped with all basic amenities like a TV, air conditioning, a mini-fridge, an electric kettle, and a comfortable bed. The bathroom was clean, and toiletries were provided. My only issue was with the view—while the room was advertised as having a sea view, what I got was a garbage dump in the foreground and a distant sea view. This was quite disappointing. 🚿 Bathroom (5/5) The bathroom was clean, well-equipped, and stocked with essential toiletries. One thoughtful addition was a small stool, which is useful for bathing kids or elderly family members. 👨‍💼 Staff & Service (4/5) The staff were generally polite and courteous, and their behavior was professional. However, an incident initially raised concerns, which I will detail below. 📍 Location (5/5) The location is fantastic—all major sightseeing points are very close to the hotel: Kanyakumari Beach Gandhi Memorial Sunset Point Kumari Amman Temple Boating Point Auto rickshaws charge around ₹60-₹80 one way to these places from the hotel. 🍽 Restaurant & Food (5/5) The buffet breakfast had a wide variety of options and tasted great. I also tried their lunch and dinner, and both were delicious: Lunch: Malai Kofta, Dal Fry, and 10 fluffy Phulkas Dinner: Chicken Lollipop, Chicken Fry, Phulkas, and Navratan Korma The food quality exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend dining here. ⚠️ Major Concern – Unauthorized Room Entry & Missing Money (Resolved) This is where my experience took a disappointing turn, but I appreciate that the management took action. On the morning of 3rd Feb, we went for breakfast around 7-8 AM, leaving the room locked. However, when we returned, we noticed one mineral water bottle placed inside each room. This was unexpected, as we never requested water bottles, especially since we were checking out in a few hours. The real shock came when my mother realized that ₹300 (one ₹100 note & one ₹200 note) was missing from the ₹2300 cash she had left on the table. Her bag was open, but nothing else seemed disturbed. When we confronted the staff, one of them admitted that he entered the room using a master key, claiming that we had requested water bottles. However, we never made such a request. Upon further questioning, he changed his statement, saying he entered the wrong room by mistake. I immediately reported this at the reception, and they assured me that they would take action and refund the money. ✅ Issue Resolved: Today (Feb 9), I received my refund of ₹300 from the housekeeping manager. I appreciate the management for addressing this issue, but I hope they take additional steps to prevent such incidents in the future. ⭐ Final Rating: 4/5 (Improved after receiving refund) Overall, this hotel has great rooms, excellent food, and a prime location. We were given rooms next to the wash area and there was a constant noise of utensils all through the afternoon and night. Pathetic experience...no rest..I cannot think why a 5 star has rooms adjoining the kitchen and wash areas.... wud not recommend!

Reflecting on my initial visit to Kanyakumari in 2007, I recall the scarcity of quality accommodation options that left much to be desired. Unfortunately, the issue persists even today. On my visit this year, I was happy to discover Annai Resorts & Spa, which has opened recently in Kanyakumari. I had initially booked the Sparsa resort, but was disappointed after check-in as the property failed to meet my expectations for maintenance and upkeep. There I learnt about the Annai Resorts & Spa which opened recently next to the Sparsa resort. I requested the resort staff to show me an available room, after which I swiftly checked out from Sparsa and checked in to the Annai Resorts& Spa. I stayed in a Presidential suite which overlooked the sea. The room had a sea facing balcony with a jacuzzi. Since the resort has opened recently, the room and the bathroom was sparkly, new, well-maintained, and had a contemporary aesthetic. My dining experiences at the hotel's restaurant, while decent, left some room for improvement in terms of ambiance, service, and culinary quality. The attentive and courteous demeanor of the hotel staff deserves full commendation, their hospitality left a positive impression. I hope the resort continues to keep up its quality!

I had booked for two Premium Sea View Villa for Dec'31st 2024 in Annai Resorts &Spa. As requested by the reservation team of the resort, I paid 50% advance amount. I received a WhatsApp message on 5th Dec., from the resort reservation team about visit of Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu to Kanyakumari between Dec'30th to Jan'1st. In view of the message informed of restrictions in accessing popular sightseeing places in Kanyakumari during this period. As this restriction came in the way of my plans, I decided to cancel my booking and asked for refund of the advance amount paid the same day I received the message from the resorts. Despite me giving details of my bank account, I am yet to receive the advance amount as of now. I have been sending reminders to the reservation team. They have been informing that they will communicate to their accounts team for needful action. I am yet to see credit of advance money paid to the resort. I feel the tariff of the resort being very high the resort management is unable to absorb the loss of tourists due to this last-minute VIP visit and in the process taking customers for a high ride. Advice tourists planning to reserve in this property to proceed with caution considering my experience.
