Anantya by the Lake

The property is beautiful, situated on the shores of a lake offering a calm and serene place to unwind. The property is very well maintained, staff is very courteous and food was very good. We will be definitely revisiting the place . Had gone there to celebrate my daughter's birthday with family. The staff arranged everything very nicely at the gazebo by the lake and made it very memorable for her and us.

One of the best resorts without doubt. Mesmerizing scenic views of the reservoir and western ghats. Best rooms with excellent architecture. Top notch hospitalilty and customer service. Perfect getway spot for couples for staycation or a weekend.

My stay at Anantya by the Lake was impressive. This hidden gem, nestled by the serene lake and lush forest, offers a perfect blend of tranquility and luxury. The well-appointed cottage was super clean, showcasing meticulous attention to detail despite the remote location. The view from the room was simply breathtaking, offering a panoramic view of the lake and surrounding greenery, making every moment spent in the cottage a pure delight. One of the highlights of the accommodations was the incredibly spacious bathroom, equipped with both a luxurious bathtub and a refreshing shower. The bathroom's large size added to the overall comfort, providing ample space for relaxation and rejuvenation. It was complemented by a charming small courtyard that offered a private outdoor space for unwinding. The courtyard's tranquil ambiance, with its colorful flowers and gentle breeze, made it a perfect spot for morning coffee or an evening read. Walking around the resort was a delightful experience. The well-maintained grounds provided a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The pathways were lined with beautiful flora, and the sound of birds added to the peaceful atmosphere. The carefully curated landscaping and the natural beauty of the surroundings created an enchanting environment that invited leisurely strolls and moments of reflection. Despite its remote location, the cost of food and services was very reasonable, which added to the overall luxury feel of the place. The resort's restaurant offered an extensive menu that catered to all tastes, from local delicacies to international cuisine. Breakfast was particularly delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from, including freshly baked pastries, tropical fruits, and hot dishes. The service was exemplary, with the attentive staff ensuring that every need was met promptly. The staff's genuine warmth and hospitality made every meal an enjoyable experience. Housekeeping was quick and efficient, maintaining a spotless living space and attending to any requests with a smile. The resort also provided a buggy service for those who found it hard to move around, making it accessible for all guests. The buggies were readily available and driven by friendly staff who were always willing to assist, ensuring that guests could explore the resort's vast grounds with ease. The resort grounds featured a wonderful games area with activities for all ages, a lovely infinity pool with stunning views of the lake, a kids' play area, and well-maintained badminton and tennis courts. These amenities ensured that there was something for everyone to enjoy, from children to adults. The infinity pool, in particular, was a highlight, offering a serene spot to relax and take in the picturesque views of the lake. The games area provided entertainment and fun, while the sports courts encouraged guests to stay active and engaged. Dotted around the resort were swings and hammocks for everyone to enjoy and take

The food at anantya is excellent We stayed at chakra ( type of room) . The room was clean and spacious The view here is very pretty

Stayed here for three days in jan. Place is wheelchair accessible . Staff are friendly and Kerala cuisine was superb . A very relaxing scenic place to rejuvenate. Pool was amazing . We chose a room with backyard shower and it had amazing view of the lake and mountains. Will definitely visit again.

Lovely pet friendly place by the Chittar lake. Most rooms and the dining area have lake view. Lake access from the gate near the dining area. You can enjoy the lake view from most of the rooms. Rooms are nested amongst rubber trees. Rooms and bathrooms (have tubs) are spacious. The place is pet friendly. Lot of places for the pet to run around. They charge a nominal fee for the pet entry(INR 1000 per stay). That includes a bed and water bowl as well (we didn't use since we had our own bed and bowl). Service was good. The staff were courteous and helpful. Breakfast was buffet while the remaining is ala carte (half board and full board options available). A complimentary evening tea (***** with some snacks) is available near the lake. Thiruvattar temple is nearby. They also conduct plantation tour. One note: There is no cellphone reception in some cottages (like mine). Wifi is available, though patchy. Boon or Bane - depends on you. A nice place to stay... Especially if you have a pet.
