Izz Getaway - Adults Only

The hotel grounds are undoubtedly unspoiled with beautiful pomegranate trees, cats, olive grove and cockerel waking up. However we asked for water in the room and kettle multiple times and neither arrived. The room was unclean, sticky surfaces, dust. The evening restaurant waiter was massively unfriendly and rude. We paid for 3 nights but left a day early without reimbursement because we came there to enjoy our holiday and not endure and practice tolerance and patience. Outside of very nice breakfast and wonderful morning service the hotel food quality didn’t correspond to any decent standard and was overpriced. 47 euros for a Mediterranean plate of eggplant n pepper?!?! Fish was too salty, meat was old, asparagus overcooked to death and nothing was fresh. All the food was old and prepared days in advance. The supposingly fresh squeezed juices at dinner were from morning or day before. I d recommend to go to a place with better attention to customer.

Hmm this is a bit of a tricky one to write. We travel quite a bit and are pretty relaxed actually - so this is just our personal opinion. Firstly - the grounds are absolutely beautiful. There is so much attention to detail and the rooms are spotless and everything is just stunning. Decor architecture all of it . However, the staff are massively undertrained . I am not sure if we were there on an off day - but we were not given a “tour” of the property and we were only explained a few things. The staff at the restaurant were constantly confused and getting things wrong . They were very lovely don’t get me wrong but really just need a bit of training? I’ve never experienced something like this in my years of traveling . Some other staff members were not friendly or helpful in comparison to other hotels we have stayed at / this was also surprising because Turkey is known for its fantastic hospitality. I had a massage which was lovely but was also not asked if I was comfortable with a man massaging me and I was surprised - as a sort of conservative country I was taken aback . This doesn’t bother me personally but he was also not dressed in the spa attire and it felt unprofessional ( as I said the massage was lovely and actually the best massage I’ve had in ages - but it was something I noticed that was very odd for a posh spa ) . The spa in itself is beautiful. Overall we felt quite awkward and the vibe was odd. Perhaps we were there on an off day but I wouldn’t have been able to stay here longer as I would have just been very annoyed . Pool area was noisy from staff smoking and carrying on . This isn’t something that bothers me but it was also a bit off and unprofessional for such a smart hotel Also only two coffee capsules in the rooms and then costs 1.5 Euros I think for more coffee ? Weird . Anyway as I said : mostly everyone was very kind and sweet just lacking some kind of hospitality training. Needs refining in a nutshell Wasn’t a great way to end our Turkey holiday but we won’t die. As I said - perhaps we were there during an awkward period and something had happened ? Please try sort these bits out as the hotel will be on amazing standards if these bits are just rectified. Thanks !

Love love love this place - it is so beautifully designed and laid out. It is a proper getaway - gorgeous rooms, lovely lovely people working there, great facilities (spa/massage etc) and great food. I can't imagine anyone having anything bad to say about this place, its perfect and very very reasonable for what it is. If you think Soho House in the beautiful southern Turkish countryside then that's what this is - but without any pretence! Also Gocek and the gorgeous boat trips (12 island boat trip is great) and lovely village are only 15 mins away in a cab.

Quietly tucked away in the hills but only 10 mins from the town of Gocek and Dalaman airport this place is an absolute gem. Beautiful location, great food, helpful staff - thank you so much. We will be back! The 12 islands boat trip is a must too

What can say, this is an amazing place. From the villas to the exclusive spa. The service is outstanding and it’s in the most amazing location. The massage therapist is amazing and the Haman is also amazing. If you want peace and quiet Izz Gateaway is the place!!

Fantastic boutique hotel. Unbelievable staff and accommodations. Worth going back. Ridvan, the food and beverage manager was great….plus all the other members of the staff. We found the hotel by accident and turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip to Turkey.
