The Ak-Maral Hotel is located in the center of the city of Karakol, known in the CIS and abroad for its recreational opportunities — Lake Issyk—Kul, a ski base (7 km from the city), hot springs and conditions for extreme sports (paragliding, mountain biking, mountaineering).
The hotel is located in the center of Karakol. The hotel has indoor and outdoor video surveillance systems, we cooperate with a 24-hour security service, security and fire safety meets all fire safety requirements, fire alarms are installed in all necessary places. Two types of heating systems have been installed. In case of force majeure, a generator is used. There is a conference hall for 60 people, warm with additional air conditioning, there are all the necessary equipment for the seminar -a projector, a mobile board, a large screen, a magnetic marker board, a flip chart, a microphone with an amplifier, free WI–FI, there is a parking area. It offers timely lunch, coffee break, dinner.
There are 15 rooms, including single, double, triple rooms, where there is a shower, a bathroom, a TV, a refrigerator, a heater, Internet, a wardrobe, a table, chairs, a set of bed linen and toiletries. There is a sauna with a swimming pool and all types of massage.

This was the only disappointment of our round tour in Kyrgyzstan. We had to stay here for two nights as booked by our travel agent to visit Altyn Arasan & Karakol city. Here are all negative things of place, The staff was very cold, rude and careless. Those human beings do not deserve to be in tourism industry at all. They behaved all through out our stay like we were staying there for free or simply they did not want guests there. Never experienced such rudeness, arrogance and poor service in my entire travel history as I am speaking from my travel experience of 22 countries. Room looked clean but NOT. we realized that they have not been properly cleaned from those bins with trash. Bathroom was with poor lighting and tiles were broken. Room carpets was dusty and we could smell the dust around. There was no AC and no proper ventilation when windows were closed the room was hot like an oven. Adding up, rooms were not sound proof and we could here everything from the near by road with full of drunken people and club on Friday night. Further, beds were old and creaky. Red alert, water was not clean at all. Tap water had a dirty white color ( I have a video of it as a proof)

Very big room tastefully decorated with a comfortable bed and pillows, heater and big bathroom with hot shower all in good working condition. Nice big breakfast supplied. Staff and proprietor polite and helpful. Room is clean and with a balcony

A simple hotel but a good place to stay. The reception staff is very accommodating and very helpful. The check in process was very smooth. he prepared our delicious and big breakfast as well. The location of the hotel was also a good as the market is just nearby.

So many lovely things about this hotel, location is superb, the front of house presentation on arrival is grand and there is a beautiful indoor garden, the staff are incredibly welcoming, friendly, professional, helpful, multilingual, the rooms are well equipped, comfortable with beautiful views of the mountains. I slept so well. I was treated to an amazing and filling breakfast. Very acceptable rates, Absolutely worth coming and staying here!!

Very welcoming hotel, lovely lobby, comfortable rooms (unless you are a single person sleeping in the middle of a double bed- in which case choose a side side you'll be much comfier).Hot showers and huge breakfasts with lots of variety. They make a real effort to please, asking our group what we wanted on subsequent days. The pasty things are excellent cold at lunch time and the jams are exceptional. Nice staff too.

Very nice hotel.. We had a big and clean room. Good shower too. With a marvelous view on the mountains. The staff was very helpful and kind. Also the breakfast was very nice with a lot of lokal products. So overall is was a pleasant stay the hotel.

Great food and service. I am vegan and they made special meals for me which was amazing. Also very large and comfortable rooms. The quality of the hotel is of a very high standard which is rare for being so far from Bishkek. Highly recommend.

I am Kyrgyz guy living in Bishkek and whenever I visit Karakol I always stay in Ak Maral. I personally love this hotel for the closed parking area(so I do not need to worry about my car), clean rooms and the most important for me is very delicious breakfast. Recommended
