Lake Manyara Kilimamoja Lodge

We stayed at this hotel as part of a safari trip during our honeymoon. We were completely blown away by the hotel. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by staff to take our luggage, given a welcome drink, had women singing and dancing to welcome us on arrival and had a seat in the lounge for our check in. We were then taken to our room which was beautiful with the most gorgeous wraparound balcony with an amazing view over the surroundings. We were able to sit outside and watch the sunrise from our balcony. The hotel pool was exactly what we needed after a long day on safari. The food at the hotel was outstanding. We were treated to a four course dinner every night, and the quality was excellent. We were particularly impressed by the service we received from the staff at this hotel. Every staff member was friendly and courteous, and could not do enough to make our stay special. We were greeted with a flower display at dinner saying “enjoy your honeymoon” and were treated to a bottle of sparkling wine to celebrate. At breakfast the hotel had set up a “just married” sign to greet us in the morning. We would like to particularly mention George Mark who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was special. The only thing to mention was that the drive up to the hotel is very rocky, but this is to be expected to get to a hotel in such a remote and beautiful location. We could not recommend this hotel enough. We will always remember our stay here!

Truly the most magical place! For starters the position and views are out of this world. Looking out over the valley from our balcony, bed, bath or the main pool never got old! Make sure you get up early for sunrise at least once! But to make it even better was the service a staff! Truly 5 star service with cool towels and refreshments when we arrived, to very attentive staff. To top it off we are both vegan and the hotel was informed ahead of time - the chefs and staff we incredible catering delicious meals for us and even providing a 6 course lunch just for us when we were back early from a morning safari! I will never forget this magical place and want to return someday!

I can only say amazing things about this hotel, from the initial welcome as we arrived everything was perfect. The dining area is very impressive and the rooms are incredible. We travelled for our honeymoon and they went above and beyond to make sure it was special. The food was also excellent. Thanks for an excellent stay!
