Njia Panda Tented Lodge and Campsite

The lodges are beautifully presented amongst beautiful gardens and a big swimming pool. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming we felt at home from arrival and they gave us a fabulous send off on our last day. The game drives with Marco were awesome, he was a very safe driver and was very knowledgeable on the best tracks for animal spotting. We were so lucky to see so many wild animals on our first day out in Arusha National Park. The trip to Serengeti was amazing the landscape and opportunity to sleep amongst the wildlife was a next level experience. Highly recommend the team at Njiapanda for your safari holiday.

Gorgeous lodge in a lush green garden. Really beautiful and comfortable tented rooms, glamping Tanzanian style! There is even a lovely pool to lounge around. Great food with incredibly warm and welcoming staff who look after all your needs. Perfect location on the doorstep of the Ngorongoro crater and best of all it is locally owned and run so the money goes back into the community. Don’t forget to bring a warm top for the cooler evenings.

We had a tented camp in the crater reserve and it got switched at the last moment, this added a two hour additional drive back and forth. The camp was ok but not more. No mosquito nets, robes, short on toilet papper etc. So more an issue with the Safari company, Suricata Safari's then the resort, so adequate but not what was expected. It seems like Suricata Safari is using this lodge - rebooking its clients last minute - to get this cheep place far from the crater, not caring that it Will take hours extra from the clients.

Excellent The team is amazing The tents are fully new well equipped with an extra outside shower (private and link with the internal shower) Food is very good healthy and home made We spent 3 nights there and we recommend this place Soon a pool will be available We are more than happy to have that time here

beautiful park-like surroundings, nice and clean rooms, very nice reception area with bar and restaurant. great food, very good service, very nice people. Beautiful little hiking trail on the property with chance to hear birds sounds and see the morning version of Ngorongoro Highlands. Wifi in reception,bar area and all rooms. Close to Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority. I recommend this lodge for experience travelers travelling to Ngorongoro and Serengeti.

I can honestly say I've never experienced a stay at a lodge quite like this before. Marco and the entire team at NjiaPanda were some of the warmest, friendliest, and most accommodating people I’ve ever encountered. We stayed here the night before our adventure into Ngorongoro and again after our return from both Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Upon our initial arrival, we were welcomed with warm towels and refreshing drinks. The staff took care of our bags and escorted us to our rooms, which were by far the nicest I’ve seen at any safari lodge. When we needed to depressurize our tires, rather than just directing us to the location, Marco personally took the car and handled it for us. They truly go above and beyond. After returning from the Serengeti on our second night, our car was covered in dust, but the team welcomed us back with their usual warmth and immediately offered to clean our vehicle inside and out. Their attention to detail is remarkable! The food was absolutely incredible, and the friendly smiles of the staff made each meal even more enjoyable. By the time we left, it truly felt like we were saying goodbye to family. They even surprised us with a cake for our departure and performed a captivating local song and dance routine. I can't stress enough how heartwarming our experience at NjiaPanda was. If I or anyone I know travels to Tanzania, I will absolutely recommend this place. Additionally, it is the perfect spot to stay before heading into Ngorongoro or after returning from Serengeti and Ngorongoro.
