Ngorongoro Farm House

Lovely place. Amazing view sorrounded by nature. Personnel extremely kind and friendly. Do not miss the opportunity of being attended by Presca, one of the kindest persons in the place. Certainly the best hotel we visited in Tanzania. Strongly recommended!

Fantastic and peaceful place with a huge garden and a fantastic coffee plantation. It was a wonderful place to stay after 5 fantastic days with safari. The staff we’re all very helpful, and we Got the opportunity to have a guided tour in the coffee plantation next to our Home. Great experience

I had an unforgettable experience staying at the farmhouse. The lush greenery and serene environment created a perfect retreat, and the staff made the visit even more remarkable. Among them, Frida stood out with her warm smile and exceptional hospitality, leaving a lasting impression.

Rooms are spacious with large bed, coach, personnal terrace with nice view. the site is amazing, food was awesome. what else? visited after 4 days of safari for our last days in Tanzania and it was the most confortable place we could expect to rest. People were so kind with us. Thanks again

We stayed at this hotel for one night at the end of our safari trip. This hotel is part of the TWC chain, where we had previously stayed at their other property in Lake Burunge. As such, we were already familiar with the overall setup. The check-in process could be improved in terms of attention to detail. After a tiring 5-hour drive from Serengeti, guests don’t want to sit through a lengthy introduction, especially when we have already visited the sister hotel. It would be more helpful to focus on the key information, such as happy hour time, the coffee tour schedule, and meal times. By the time we were informed about the coffee tour (which was a one-hour tour scheduled for 5 PM), it was already 5:40 PM, making it a moot point. The room itself was large and spacious, with a rustic farmhouse feel. The hot water pressure was strong, and we could refill our water bottles from the cooler in the room. Tea was also provided. Although we tried to sleep in, we were woken up by the sounds of nature, particularly the chirping of birds. The food was good; I particularly enjoyed the veggie stir-fry, which had a wide variety of vegetable options. However, since we were only there for one night, I can see it being repetitive. The Wi-Fi was the biggest drawback for me. There is a limit of 5MB, so if you leave the Wi-Fi on overnight to sync your photos, it will use up all the bandwidth. When this happens, you have to rely on cellular data or switch to your laptop. Lastly, while the grounds were beautiful, we couldn’t fully enjoy them since we were only there for one night. Our room was also quite far from the main building, and despite being fit, we had to budget about 10 minutes for a walk each way. If you forgot something in your room, returning for it would not be feasible. The pool area also didn't seem very lively, especially compared to the one at Lake Burunge.

We stayed here for our two days at Ngorogoro. The rooms were clean and spacious and the staff was welcoming. Mousa was our dedicated waiter, and despite a small language barrier, he was wonderful. There is a small bar and the food at the restaurant was good. There is a pool but we did not use it . It’s about a 20-30 minute drive to the entrance to Ngorgoro. Would I stay here again?……yes
