Kisima Ngeda Camp

The best place we stayed in our honeymoon without a doubt. Beautiful views, incredible staff, great food. Have a pool as well. The room is incredible with great views. Definitely 10/10 would recommend.

Great views at Lake Eyasi from our own (beautiful!!) lodge as well as the central accomodation. A lot of birds all around the place. The pool was most welcome. From here very interesting tours can be made to the Hadzabe and Datoga people. Most of all we enjoyed the friendliness of Nani and her staff with special thanks to Rita.

The Kisima Ngeda Camp was our second camp in a tour with Entara. It is located on the shores of the Eyasi Lake and our tent had a spectacular view of bird flocks constantly flying over the landscape. We would had been happy to just sit there and do nothing other than eat the excellent food served at meal times. But our guide, Peter, had other ideas for us. The truth is that we didn't really know what we had signed up for. We were taken to a fly camp to stay overnight in the most beautiful spot, the dry bed of an old lake where a promontory rises like an inland. A very surreal and exquisite landscape where a mech tent was set up for us to sleep under the stars. But the really amazing thing about this evening was the visitors we had, members of the Hadza tribe that inhabited the area. We had a chance to visit with a group of young hunter gatherers and the next day we joined them while they hunted for small birds and collected wild honey, which we ate. We have no words to describe the whole experience. After being home for a few days, we are still digesting all that we saw and experienced. We can not be thankful enough to Peter and the whole staff at the Kisima Camp.

Finding the camp was confusing g as the kids in the town play with the directional signs. Greeted by several wonderful people. The food was great. The views of the lake are awesome. The rooms were basic but we'll supplied. The beds were very comfortable. The walk to your lodge is safe but dark, take your flashlight.

Kisima Ngeda Camp is located on beautiful Lake Eyasi. Three friends and I stayed here in order to have a cultural experience to compliment our game viewing. The accommodations at this camp are comfortable and the meals are excellent. The hostess, Nannie, is delightful and full of information about the area. While staying there we did one night of fly camping with the Hadzabe Tribe and spent the next day joining the tribe on a hunt. It was fascinating! Highly recommend.
