Just excellent! We loved this place! The people is very kind and friendly. The food was delicious and the hotel just incredible we want to come back again! We was so impressed with this place. Thanks for an unforgettable experience! Highly recommended

So charming place and nice people. They helped us with the luggage and the food was really good. Since it is a safari logde, every day after breakfast, we could make our own lunch box to have with us to safari that day. It was also really good service. Would really recomend!

We stayed at this luxury hotel while we spent several days on safari. This hotel is an oasis in a sea of dirt roads. The staff, facilities, rooms and food are excellent. Can't recommend this hotel and facility any more strongly. Make sure you book a stay at his location.

Bougainvillea Safari Lodge is a great choice for families. We had an interconnected family room comprised of two cottages which were simply but comfortably furnished. The place was spotlessly clean and the showers were super powerful with plentiful hot water. It is true that there is no AC but fans are supplied. At the time of our visit (January), we didn’t even need the fans as nights were comfortably cool. The grounds are beautiful and very tranquil and our children adored the pool area complete with smaller paddling pool. The staff were universally service minded and warm and the food was delicious. They even went out of their way to accommodate my daughter’s picky eating! They will supply you with snack boxes for safari which were also very generous and we really appreciated being prepared a breakfast box when we had a super early departure on the day of check out. Can’t say enough good things about this place. Would certainly stay again!

Location: Judt a short drive from the entrance to the national park, close to the main road but tranquil. Good to unwind before you go to the Ngonrongoro. Rooms: Actually small houses with a nice terrace, a comfortable bed, clean and spacious with a shower with enough hot water. Seating area and table. General areas: Anlarge pool which allows for swimming, a lot of birs and butterflies and also plants. Very well for some relaxation. All kept cöean and zhe drnks service at the pool worked. Staff: Friendly and attentive. Food: Ok but nothing to write home about. Dinner was a buffet with some items overcooked and a bit crowded but enough choice and quality to keep us satisfied. Main advantage is being do close to the park.

Decent for a Quick Stop, But Not a Long Stay The pool area at this location was excellent and definitely the highlight of our stay. However, this spot is more suited for a one-night stop rather than a longer visit. Room cleanliness was an issue, with dead cockroaches found, and the shower had poor water pressure. While the pool was a standout feature, the overall facilities didn’t quite meet expectations for a more extended stay. Friendly staff. No wifi in rooms.

Rooms don’t have A/C or heating, mediocre food, weird social interactions with front desk staff and one other staff member in particular (looked like a Simpsons character), and weak WIFI that only really works in the reception area. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Had a wonderful stay here. We enjoyed the pool. The food was scrumptious. The room was wonderful. The staff, especially Phoebe, were wonderful. My only recommendation is that you add a fan in the room, as it will help with the circulation of air. Since the rooms have no AC, a fan would really help. When we stayed there, it had rained. The rain brought the temperature down. But you really need to add a fan in the room, as only few windows have a net and can be left opened at night. Without a fan, the room gets stuffy at night. Big thanks to the team here for an incredible stay!

It is nice. Very friendly and observant staff. The food is good and there is what you need. The pool is very nice and in the middle of it all. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and spacious. I do not understand why we have to eat inside. It is hot and sticky.
