Villa Olga Lounge Hotel

Stayed here for a week in September. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome. Nadia and Anthoulla work so hard to make your stay nice and are warm, friendly and kind. People award this 5 stars because of their holiday experience including me. I wanted rest and relaxation in a small hotel and that’s exactly what I got and more. Breakfast is available and it’s a small buffet and Nadia and Anthoulla bring out fresh food such as Apple and cinnamon pastries and Loukoumades. The hotel has lovely touches and is quirky which I loved. Taxi to Lefkada town is 10 Euros and worth the visit with lots of shops and restaurants. Would I return .. absolutely. I always spend a lot of time researching before I decide on a hotel. The reviews about Villa Olga led me to book this place. We arrived at about 2130 on Sunday evening and as we walked away from the coach Nadia came out and greeted us like we were old friends. As other reviews also say, we have never been greeted like this before. It truly set the pace. Nadia and her sister Sula (apologies, if I have spelt the name wrong), and their equally kind and friendly husbands Nectaris and Dimitri, have created something unique here. The whole place feels so special because it reflects the love and personality of the family that created it. They all work exceptionally hard all day long. The food was excellent and all home cooked. The rooms and outside spaces were spotless, the bar excellent, the restaurant really well done, open and airy. Nothing was too much trouble for Nadia and the family- they genuinely wanted to help you if you needed it, and were always at pains to make sure you had everything you needed for a great holiday. They were all great fun too, always ready with a smile and a laugh- lovely people. The Friday night Greek night was really good fun too- everyone enjoyed it, even those who didn't dance ;-) We had a really fantastic week, and have already decided when we are going to return; Villa Olga gets a lot of return visitors, and it's easy to see why. Huge thanks to all the family. Have to mention as well, we were also really lucky that the other guests here during our week were really nice people; you made our trip extra special, thank you. We stayed here for 18 nights in September. Following a family bereavement as we flew out, it was refreshing to have such a warm welcome when we arrived. Such a relaxing environment for a holiday. The hotel was in a beautiful part of the island. We had a couple of nights on mainland Greece and is easily accessible. Our only regret was not getting to know the owners better but the circumstances meant we kept to ourselves for most of the time. Anyway I would recommend this place to anyone
