Astoria Hotel & Medical Spa recensioner

Very good. I could check in even at 11 in the morning, instead at 2 pm. The room was small, but perfect for solo traveller. Plenty of the SPA facilities, friendly staff, speak multiple languages. Nice breakfast ( except water melon, at some point, in the beginning it was empty, but not refilled during the service) I really loved the tea room with the amazing choice of different teas. I would definitely stay there again during my next visit to Karlovy Vary.

에어컨이 없다는 단점이있지만 문열어놓고 자면 시원했어요(8월중순) 광장앞이라 시끄럽지만 뷰는 너무 예뻐요 유일하게 슬리퍼도 주는 숙소라서 좋네요! 바디로션,바디워시,샴푸,린스 다 있어요 바디로션 좋은 거같아요 맘에 들어요

Außer Frühstück war alles ok. Aber Auswahl von Frühstück keine 4 Sterne Qualität.

We enjoyed our stay with the whole family in this hotel. The staff was pleasant, all hotel areas smelled lovely and were clean. The wellness area has been beautifully renovated. We especially liked the idea of the tea room, which is part of the hotel and offers guests free tea and coffee during the whole day. We had a room with a direct view of the colonnade, which was fantastic. The only downside was the parking, but this is a common issue for all hotels in the city center. However, there is free parking available about a 5-minute walk uphill from the hotel.

We booked 2 rooms with the panoramic views! Absolutely gorgeous. Easy check-in. Parking is available for a fee. Used a pool and a tea room the first night. The amazing location of the hotel makes it great. We loved it. And hopefully will return again.

Horrible restaurant service: guests who paid as usual for the meals at the hotel restaurant are literally not allowed to seat and have their meals at the table. Old people who came to this hotel from far abroad to get some water related treatment are treated in unacceptable way. Super nasty lady who is managing the restaurant service and sitting is rude, obviously dividing guests by nationality and saying that the guests are not allowed to sit because the “tables are reserved for some other guests” and cannot be used at any time (why it is like that and how this works and who are these guests - she refused to tell). So, this “privileged reservation “ makes almost every breakfast and dinner at this restaurant a nightmare for some old people, making them struggling to find the free tables (which are never available, considering the overall number of guests vs. seats). It is unbelievable to see how sometimes people from third countries are treated in the mid. of Europe! We definitely never visit this hotel again and will tell others to avoid such places.

The hotel is located right in the historical centre - great location. However if you come by car you will have to park further in a private parking place. The rooms are small and clean. Great if you can have a view on the colonada ! Toilets and bathroom were in the same room. Breakfast are very Czech. You must pay extra for spa - swimming pool is ok but not opened the whole for the public. They organised lessons at noon. Sauna ok

My stay at the Astoria Hotel was absolutely wonderful. Located right on the colonnade, you're in for a real treat - I was lucky enough to have a breathtaking view of the historic Karlovy Vary! :) The staff was incredibly kind and friendly, providing us with great recommendations on what to do in the city. The room was beautiful and clean. The breakfast selection was rich and satisfying. I wholeheartedly recommend it for a romantic weekend getaway or a rejuvenating family stay. :)

Great location in the center, next to spa colonnade with healing springs. Nice hotel with great wellness with a small swimming pool and several kinds of sauna, friendly staff, everything perfectly cleen.

What a great choice of the hotel! It has been a several years since my last time in Karlovy Vary. I’m happy I can say that thank’s to this hotel I enjoyed my trip much more than I’ve expected! I stayed in Astoria Hotel and Medical Spa for 4 nights and I’ve got one of their beautifully refurbished and modern rooms with a splendid overview of the famous spa colonade! Awesome! My room was very stylish with design furniture and there was everything you need incl. the espresso machine, comfortable armchair with a coffee table, working desk with a chair, flatTV and the most importantly stable wi-fi free of charge, enough wardrobe space and extremely comfortable bed! I tried their buffet breakfast - it was excellent! They offer wide choice of fresh and delicious meals incl. healthy corner. I also had a buffet dinner once and I’m not a big fan of buffet dinner concepts but I really enjoyed this one. All meals were fresh and very very tasty. I was fortunate enough to had a chance to visit their wellness for a short relax break - it was absolutely fantastic! Another thing that completely excited me was their tea room with a great choice of high quality teas from earl grey to herb tea. They have tea menu for everyday!:-) What I woul like to pointed out were all the people! From ch/in to ch/out I’ve felt invited and welcomed and taken care of. My room, all corridors, lobby, wellness ..well, all the hotel was not only nicely and tastefully rennovated but spotlessly clean! Everyone was proffessional and attentive and smiling. Very pleasant and friendly atmosphere despite all the hard times we are all experiencing due to pandemic. This hotel and all the staff there made my November stay in KV truly special. Thank you! I totally recommend and I can’t wait to come back soon again!

Nice facilities with full spa, tea section and nice rooms. The location is excellent in the middle of the spa area with mineral spring right outside the door steps. Even if it is a tourist area, it is calmn, relaxing and very beatiful. The staff, including Kamilla and others, was very friendly and went all the way to help out with our needs. The thai massage was amazing. We’ll come back.

We were here for 3 days stay, enjoying beatyfull Karlov Vary. We chose this hotel based on the tripadvisor rewievs. The hotel location is great, right across the Colonade. And if you have the room fasing the Colonade, the view is great. However, this is not so luxury hotel as it seems. The biggest disapointment is the staff. They are rude. We didint feel welcome at all and didint see one smile during our stay. It seemed that they only cared their German customers. Room wasent cleaned during our visit, they didint change linens or empty the trash can. Room was hot and we have to keep the window open at night. Spa was so basic, only one pool and the steam sauna was out of order. And the Finnish sauna is NOT a Finnish sauna, stop the false advertising and do your research. As a Finish person the sauna was an insult. Breakfast was good. But I would recomend another hotel for your stay in KV, where you get more for your money.
