Top notch experience! Managed very well. They don’t miss anything making stay unforgettable. Perfect add-on after African Safari. Located on beach at northern end of Zanzibar about hour drive from airport. Provide beach security so local beach vendors unable to enter private areas.

Ending our honeymoon at Zuri Zanzibar was like stepping into paradise. The resort is breathtaking, with its prime beachfront location and beautifully designed spaces. We were thrilled by the level of service, attention to detail, and overall atmosphere at Zuri! The beach at Zuri is the best on the island—pristine and private, with perfect sunset views. We enjoyed sunset drinks and a beach barbecue featuring incredible seafood, which became one of the highlights of our trip! We also booked the romantic beachside dinner which was everything we wanted and more. From all the people we spoke to, Zuri is definitely the nicest resort on the island. The staff, including Richard, Regan, Francis, and many more, were attentive and accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed. The food and drinks were outstanding, and the resort itself offered everything we could want without needing to leave. Zuri Zanzibar was the perfect end to our honeymoon—a luxurious, peaceful retreat where we felt pampered and relaxed.

Review of Zuri Zanzibar We had the pleasure of spending 17 amazing days at Zuri Zanzibar, and it has been an unforgettable experience. From start to finish, the hotel impressed us with its incredible service, stunning surroundings, and exceptional staff. During our stay, one of us unfortunately fell ill, but the care and support from the Zuri team were beyond anything we could have expected. Meals were kindly delivered to our room, and Dr. Yasser provided immediate assistance. He also arranged express service at a nearby hospital just two minutes away, which was truly outstanding. The food was absolutely delicious, with something new and exciting to enjoy every day. The hotel’s beautiful environment felt like a tropical paradise, and the staff made us feel welcome and cared for at every moment. I have no words for how magical our 5 night stay was with Zuri. From the very beginning when we booked with Zuri we knew it was going to be magical. Petra was always very responsive to any of my emails and concerns. We arrived on a sunny afternoon and were shown our room which had some beautiful welcome gifts as we were celebrating our honeymoon. We went start to the beach restaurant and had a delicious lunch. From there we could not fault any of the meals we had on site. They were all tasty and fresh. Special shoutout to Maria in the middle restaurant. She was always so friendly and helpful when we visited. We had sundowners every night which was beautiful to watch the sunset. The staff at the beach bar were always so welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed some tasty cocktails in the bar by the reception and some yummy iced coffees. Three small negatives for us - laundry service is very expensive at 3 dollars per underwear and the resort is a bit too quiet for us at night and lacks a bit of atmosphere in the restaurants (seems guests are very spread out or maybe not eating on site every night) We loved the Dj on some of the sundowner days - I think this should be every night during peak season and there was live music at the buffet restaurant one night which was lovely but ended very early. The resort beside plays music very loud every night and can be hard to go asleep even with the earplugs they provide. We were there for the New Years Eve celebrations which was amazing. So well organised with lots of different elements throughout the evening.

Only stayed 4 nights, wish we could’ve stayed longer. It was a great experience. The rooms were always clean and the food was tasty. There are three restaurants, with one being on the beach. The beach and ocean were great, with access to kayaks, paddle boards, etc. the pool and deck was great too. They offer a spice garden tour right by the reception for free. The fitness center had a good amount of equipment. Everyone there was very nice and polite.

Wow - stunning accommodation by the beach. I would highly recommend to anyone considering a trip to Zanzibar. All staff members are excellent, so helpful and friendly. The food is exceptional with plenty of options and choice of resturants to choose from. The bungalows are beautifully presented and well cleaned throughout our stay, the beds are super comfy and my husband got a fantastic massage to help his sunburn. There is various activities throughout the day and watching the sunset on the beach each evening was a highlight for us! Zuri is on one of the best parts of the island to access the beach and there was security keeping vendors away so they didnt bother you.
