Ocean Paradise Resort & Spa

From the moment we arrived, we felt as if time had slowed down. The peace, the breathtaking views, and the kindness of the entire team made us feel at home in a place that offers so much more than we ever expected. The front desk team was welcoming and always ready to help, and the cleanliness throughout the hotel was simply perfect. A special thank you to Kelvin for his constant courtesy and to Chef Ally, who always found a way to tailor delicious vegetarian dishes just for me. Ocean Boutique Hotel is the perfect place for couples looking for an unforgettable escape refined, relaxed, and truly heartwarming. Pole pole, always!

This hotel is well laid out and the staff are friendly and helpful. The room was fine and kept immaculately clean. The food was generally good. However, this hotel should be a place of relaxation for all, but the smoking policy, or lack of one, made it impossible to enjoy clean air on the beach, at the pool or in dining areas. Although there are a couple of non-smoking areas in the bar and restaurant area, non-smokers have to walk through smoking areas to get to them. The reception area is equally bad in this regard. For this reason I could not recommend this hotel to any non-smoker. This is a shame as this could be a really good hotel.

This is a wonderful resort that has an amazing pool, lovely beach, good food and super staff. Even when full there are lots of places to sit and plenty of pool loungers. The rooms are spacious with great air-conditioning and spacious bathrooms. It has a number of bars, and a lot of steps. Though you can access around the site on ramps. The entertainment is good. But could use a better sound system and be a bit tighter, some of the things go on a bit too long. Communication is not a strength of the hotel, information in the rooms is a bit all over the place. There is a board at breakfast about what's on, but it's not always clear where. The SPA is very good with good massages that are superb value. Internet is very good, so an app with what's on, offers etc would be useful. There is not a lot around, a row of shops next door in an alley, though you do get pounced on a bit! Food is all excellent with great choice. Avoid the cornflakes and frosties, the dispensers aren't sealed so the humidity really gets to them. We would recommend the hotel for a Zanzibar beach stay, but would add a stay for a couple of nights in a hotel in Zanzibar town which would add to the Zanzibar experience.
