Sani Dunes

We had a great stay here, everything exceeded our expectations. The staff was great, especially Andreea, the assistant hotel manager at Sani Dunes. Will definitely come back.

Returning to Sani Dunes for the fifth time—and each visit still wraps me in that beloved “coming home” feeling. The resort’s breathtaking domain, surrounded by pine forests, crystal-clear pools, and serene beachfront, remains a sanctuary of beauty and tranquility. A sincere shoutout to Andrea—your thoughtful, warm-hearted service turns every arrival into a celebration. Dimitris and the pool team, you make every poolside moment delightful with your friendliness and impeccable attention. And growing into the role with charm and energy, Stergios is a rising star (the Market). The food is extraordinary—each dish crafted with passion and flavor, whether it’s by the pool, in the Marketplace, or at the dreamy Beach House by the sea, the Marina, .... I’m endlessly impressed. Just a short stroll away, the romantic marina beckons with its stylish boutiques, elegant waterfront dining, and ambiance that perfectly captures laid-back Aegean charm. Thank you, Sani Dunes—five stays later, you still enchant. I can’t wait for number six.

I have been coming with my family to Sani Dunes for many years, but this year, it has hit an all-time low. Terribly poor customer service, overpriced room (€3k) "beachfront" to be above the kitchen breathing the smell of food or of the smoking of the staff taking their break, with garbage disposal and collection just behind. Ants coming in the "better" room from holes in it s walls (pictures attached) Furthermore, the cleaning of the room is very basic for the standard the hotel claims to be, the terrace was never cleaned in 10 days, delicacies delivered full of ants (look at the pictures). Forced to change room in the middle of the stay for a higher category but the room standard and experience was worse. Very poorly handled by the hotel, nothing was mentioned at check in, just notified 30minutes before that the room needs to be freed in a very unpleasant manner... When all the problems were brought up to the hotel management, nothing was done, the manager did not even show his face, not even a courtesy note for an overdue apology. Shameful and very poor management for a hotel that pretends to be 5 stars. Customers are just treated as a number, not as humans paying an excessive amount of money for such a poor experience. To be avoided, there are much better options at this price than this hotel
