Close to Thamel . Very Chinese style new hotel . The boss speaks perfect Chinese and is glad to help customers.

I stayed at the hotel for 2 weeks. The hotel was super clean. The staff was awesome, kind, polite & very helpful. They have security officers guarding the premises round the clock. Breakfast was delicious 😋. I highly recommend anyone to stay at lakhey Hotel.🫰

The hotel is new and clean with excellent service, and has walkable distance to Thamel. There is security officer in hotel entrance which made me feel safe, and also a chinese restaurant with good quality of food. All of the staff can speak very well Chinese and English so communication is not a problem in the hotel. The most attractive point of the hotel is the owner 小明 who is also a travel company owner. He helped me arranged airport transport, two-day Pokhara trip as well as one-day sunrise and city-sightseeing trip which were all very well organised with reasonable price. He speaks fluent Mandarin and I communicated with him via wechat for all the arrangements (just email the hotel to ask for his wechat). I can truly feel that the owner and all staff made best effort to make every visitor to feel warm and welcoming like a home. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Kathmandu.

The room we got was spacious and clean even though the toilet sink had little space to put our toiletries. The beds were comfortable enough and the service was top notch and personable. Every request was met with a positive and quick response. The hotel is about 10mins walk from Thamel where there are heaps of other hotels/eateries and shopping. Further down Thamel, if one strolls further, one'll find the touristy UNESCO Durbar Square where there are lots of temples and handicrafts/shops, etc.

I wanted to share my heartfelt thanks for the wonderful 15 days I spent at Lakhey Hotel. It truly felt like a home away from home. Good service and friendly stuffs

This hotel is very nice, close to Thamel, but in a quiet street. The staff there are very nice and helpful.

The staffs are nice as well as the food. Most of the room smells cigarette and very noisy from housekeeping during they cleaning the room, slamming the door etc., Dogs barking noise the whole day and night, kept you awake all the time. No any offered to change the room from the staff after you report them the problem. We booked 3 nights but only stayed 1 night was enough for us….terrible experience.

Honestly, this is the most cost-effective hotel I have ever stayed in. The location is great, the room is comfortable, and most importantly, it is very clean. The shower has strong water pressure, which is very refreshing. The breakfast is delicious. The highlight is that the hotel owner is very helpful, arranging everything for us as first-time visitors to Kathmandu. We have already planned to return to Nepal in December and will stay at this hotel again. ---

10 mins walk to the main area of Thamel so you can avoid the noise. Hotel staff can speak Chinese and English.
