There was a very friendly staff, an amazing location, and I loved the services provided here: Wifi, Landury, and the kitchen facility. I recommend this hotel for all kinds of travelers, solo, couples, and even families.

It's in the tourist area and very convenient.

The staff carried my luggage. There was also a chai service! The place is a little hard to find, but I got there safely! I had made a reservation for Chitwan International Park, and they worked well together. I was able to charge my iPhone.

とにかくスタッフが親切です。 ネパールに到着し、最初の2泊をここで宿泊しました。その後場所を移動して旅をしていましたが、再びカトマンズった際にも、また利用したいと思い再度予約をしました。

The Bakpackers hotel kathmandu: great shower, single room really good, clean. Staff very cool. They provide extra services like laundry, printer, etc. It is a simple but very good for the price charged, I do recommend it.

I have stayed at the Bagpacker Hostel for the past 10 years. The rooms have always been clean tge bath rooms very clean with plenty of hot water. The food is well prepared and very good. The owner Krishna and his wife have always treated us like family and has helped us arrange transportation.

I highly recommend the Bagpackers Lodge for visitors to Thamel, Kathmandu! Krishna and the staff at Bagpackers Lodge made our stay very comfortable. The room, with a hot breakfast included, was clean, comfortable, conveniently located in the heart of Thamel, and very affordable. The best part is that we left with new friends!!

If anyone wants to book it please don't do it. They first took our money and denied to check us in telling that their rooms are already full. When we tried to tell the thing to our booking they tried to contact the hotel. The hotel staff just told them the reverse thing. They waited for us. Just imagine the kind of harrasment we have faced with family of ladies and old person and with handicapped brother of mine. And the worst thing is after knowing our situation very clearly they even didn't sent us their location as we wanted to talk to them personally. They just refused to co-operate. This is how they behave with persons from other countries. So anybody when going for booking this hotel please think twice.

Good and nice place with spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and an enjoyable rooftop terrace with a restaurant. Prices are low, staff is friendly and helpful. The location is great (very central) - still, in night a bit difficult to find. Area is quite and we had a good sleep. Several mini busses depart from a nearby street towards Ramechhap at 1:30 am in the night, so the hotel is nicely located close to the departure place to avoid long walking in the night. We liked the place a lot and will be happy to come back.

Great Lodge in heart of the city….we stayed 10 years ago & knew we wanted to stay there again. Rooms are comfortable, Wi-Fi is fast, Rooftop terrace is great for meals, Krishna was able to organize private day trips for us & arranged airport pick up & drop off. Highly recommend it.
