I would give the hotel a solid five stars except for the toilet height in the bathroom. It is rediculously low and there isn't a grab bar to assist you to get up. I realize that this isn't an issue for most people, but as a senior citizen with aging knees, it was an issue. Otherwise, the room and bathroom were spacious, very clean and well appointed. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Polite staff.

My family and I were driving out west and decided to bed down for the night in Kearney. Nothing about the hotel felt like it was the middle of nowhere. High, vaulted ceilings in the lobby welcome you, while an indoor pool awaits to soothe your back. The rooms are nicely laid out with a kitchen, appliances, and a table that can be for dinner or business. Everything was nice and clean and inviting. If there’s one knock on this location, it’s that the beds sagged toward the middle. My partner and I, and the kids for that matter in the other bed, kept sinking into each other. Outside of that, if you’re in among the corn in Kearney, NE, I recommend this hotel highly. Pro tip: the hotel’s gym has a full weight rack. Take advantage of that if you lift.

I wrote a Google review after staying here, and just now see I did not write one for Tripadvisor. Where to even start? I stayed at over 8 Candlewood Suites from Idaho to West Virginia on my most recent trip across country. I love this chain because of the free laundry, rooms with mini kitchen, and lower cost than most long stay chains. Anyway, this particular location is unequivocally the best of all of them, far and away better than number 2. The size of the lobby, the freshness, the newness, the size of the hallways (well, I stayed on the first floor), the clean laundry room and gym, and the ease of use. Hell, the parking area was even clean and new and fresh. Great location. 5 stars!

Clean and friendly, BUT...no breakfast, Room small for the price. Even w/ the smallness, lack of some amenities. Cannot believe the price can accommodate extended stays. $200 for some room is fine--- consider that as worth it?--Not me !! Will avoid this chain like the plague. !st and last time to stay here

In late March we stayed 6 nights in a 4th floor room with views to the southwest. We were treated nightly at sunset to thousands of cranes flying near the Platte River to find good roosting spots. The room was perfect for us. It was squeaky clean, had a well designed and equipped kitchen area, comfy beds, and most important, it was QUIET at night. Front desk staff, each one of them, was superb. Plus, this hotel is centrally located for area crane watching and made for an easy day trip to Grand Island too. We loved this hotel and give it two thumbs up.
