This hotel is fantastic. The grounds and public spaces are kept immaculate and there's clearly a lot of pride goes into maintaining this lovely hotel. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and clearly enjoy their jobs. The pool area is lovely. We visited right at the end of the season and there were always plenty of sunbeds available. The pool bar serves good quality food, although the prices are on the higher side. The cocktails are fab - I highly recommend the bramble if you like gin. We had 2 rooms, one of which was upgraded to a maisonette apartment and was a lovely surprise. Both rooms were well equipped and the beds were nice and comfortable, the showers were also nice and powerful with plenty of hot water. There's a lot of thought gone into the design of the rooms, but as others have mentioned, there was a noticeable lack of storage. Some drawers underneath the vanity/desk areas would be ideal. Only a small niggle though. The area is very quiet but also really close to the airport which is handy - no long transfers. There are also restaurants and a supermarket within walking distance and there's a beach close by. We hired a car and explored the island which we enjoyed. There's lots of car hire places nearby but we used Kefalonia Rent a Car and they were great. I highly recommend visiting Assos and Fiskado if you're planning on getting out and about. Overall, a fantastic hotel in a lovely part of a beautiful island. We'd 100% stay here again when we return to Kefalonia.

We came here last year and enjoyed it so much we came back again this year . The pool is wonderful. The rooms are quirky and the place is spotless. Quite remote but that's why we liked it so much. Will be returning next year. The beach is about 10 mins walk away and tavernas just around the corner.

Fantastic hotel, fantastic location! We typically visit Kefalonia multiple times a year, as inlaws have a place here (very lucky i know) During our trip in August 2023, we decided to stay at the Avithos resort for a few nights to have some time to ourselves rather than staying in the villa with the family. This place is incredible, if you are looking for incredible styling and a instagram worthy stay - this is it. We booked a self contained suite/apartment with 2 floors. The bed was AMAZING.

Great boutique hotel, in the southern part of kefalonia. The resort is slightly detached from the main town centre, about a 15 minute drive away, but a large pool, great room and breakfast buffet makes up for it. The price was good and there are hire scooters ready in the car park which is handy. Would recommend

We’ve just returned from a visit to Avithos Resort & can’t speak highly enough of the quality of accommodation, service from booking to check out, cleanlinesses & attention to detail from the staff. We opted to take breakfast at the resort which offered a good choice with excellent service from Claudia. There are a number of restaurants within walking distance, our favourite being Esperides which is a short stroll away. Beaches are also relatively close. I’d recommend a visit without hesitation.

We had a fantastic stay here, the hotel is lovely with well presented rooms and well maintained grounds. Pool was lovely with plenty of sunloungers. Kids pool was good with lots of inflatables available to use. Staff were all friendly and we thought the food at the pool bar was very good and reasonably priced. The location is fairly remote but there were a selection of good restaurants 5-15 minutes walk away. The hotel also offer a free shuttle service to some of the restaurants and Avithos beach which came in handy on a few occasions. We didn’t hire a car and just enjoyed the pool and beaches but got the bus into Argostoli one day which was easy to do. Overall we had a lovely, relaxing stay at avithos resort and would happily recommend to others.

Another fabulous week at Avithos Resort. Fantastic location, terrific staff and super clean, and in a lovely rural location, but a nice stroll to plenty of tavernas and the local mini market that has everything you could need. Thanks again so much. 10/10

Lovely little hotel, it's like an oasis in the desert, very clean and the room was a descent size, the bathroom was a bit small, there were no wardrobes for your clothes just a hanging rail, there are no drawers for your bits and bobs, apart from that no complaints from us. Downside: The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, the nearest restaurant is a good half mile away, the rest of the restaurants close to the hotel are at least 2 miles away, so you will need to take a taxi there and back, the hotel provides a car to take you anywhere within a mile radius for free, any further than that and they charge you 10.00 Euros, the only "supermarket". is a good 1.1/2 miles away, not good if you are old or infirm. Overall this hotel is decent and just about a 4 star, would we return there, the answer is no, but only because of it's location.

Where do i start? 100% superb! Cleanest place we've ever been! This resort is like a dream. The superior suite we had was clean as a whistle even smelled nice, maid service was excellent cleaned (it didn't need it) and new towels and bedding. The pool area has to be seen to be believed, absolutely spotless and the pool bar is fantastic. The 2 girls on the pool bar (Sorry don't know your names) we always smiling and happy to serve. Beautiful lunch and drinks menu and there are 2 types of lounger. Maximum respect around the pool, no bombing or shouting etc it just puts you in a relaxed mood. (Benidorm this aint!) Christina and her team on reception are lovely she couldn't do enough for us! The setting with the surrounding mountains one side, the Ionian Sea the other is perfect. There's no evening entertainment but a few lovely restaurants just round the corner and the supermarket is also just round the corner and very well stocked. Be aware of midges there are screens in all rooms so use them. If your after a seriously relaxing holiday then give avithos resort a go !! Christina we will be back!!
