Hotel Grásteinn

We are checking out the day I am writing this review.This hotel is wonderful because of the helpful people who work here.It’s clean and quiet close to the ocean,airport and many restaurants.The staff is so accommodating.We had a very early flight and check in was at 2 but they gave us our room 4 hours prior to check in time.The 24/7 coffee and tea is a very nice feature.Overall it’s a great place,would highly recommend.

Really handy hotel for an airport stay. Hosts were very friendly throughout our stay organised a taxi for 4am, for us, literally only a five minute drive to the airport then. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, which was welcomed after 10 days of camping. We ended up walking to get dinner, the hotel is in a nice quiet area.

The most helpful staff I have ever experienced. My midnight flight has been cancelled and airline informed us there is no room available within 3 hours drive from Keflavik so we shall help on our own. I called to Hotel Grasteinn and they also said they are fully booked however, they tried to find something and asked for 30 mins to double check it. When I called again half an hour later they were able to find a room for me. Next day, during breakfast when I asked for check-out time they just said they flexible and not so strict on it. I had to stay a day longer and there were again very, very helpful with a drop to downtown restaurant of Reykjanesbaer and later with arranging taxi's which was not easy piece of cake on Sunday afternoon.

An overnight stay at Hótel Grásteinn in a room for 4 people. We arrived late at the airport and the hotel is 5 min. by car from there. Parking outside the hotel. There were night porter and we were quickly checked in. Room ok for a single night. Very simple breakfast.

Praticamente dormi in un container da terremotati con una finestrella che si apre per 3cm massimo, per lo più di fianco ad una ditta di lavorazione di pesce che lavora tutta notte ciò significa rumore e puzza. Colazione scarsa. Da evitare assolutamente

Consiglio questa soluzione solo per una notte. La camera non ha spazio vivibile, non ha un buon ricambio d’aria e, nel mio caso, il lavandino aveva una piccola perdita e il letto non era confortevole. Il personale è stato gentilissimo, disponibile e pronto a rispondere a ogni esigenza, ma ciò non compensa la struttura.
