Very good option around the airport, they can arrange free drop off at the airport what is very convenient

Pros: - short drive to airport - common areas make up for tiny rooms - early “breakfast” Cons: - breakfast lacking in so many ways - property cleanliness questionable – bathroom, black coverings - flattest pillows ever (the covers were thicker than the pillow) - no space whatsoever - very low effort and one of our most expensive stays Summary: Unfortunately, the B&B Guesthouse in Keflavik missed the mark in many, many ways and there is evident lack of overall care whilst riding on the coat tails of an 8.x positive review score they likely had years and years ago. The only saving grace was that this was our last stay prior to leaving and it made us want to return home after our time in this beautiful country. Upon arrival, the front desk attendant was not available. When the attendant finally returned and we checked in, we were provided a very very small room with literally a bed with the flattest pillows I’ve ever slept on, tacky black bedding, a shelf mounted above to bump your head on, a wall-mounted television, and that’s it. We elected for accommodation with a private bathroom and in our case we found possible mold contamination (unacceptable). The common area fortunately offered some reprieve and extra space, but it was again a small space overall. “Breakfast” was self-serve and by far the most basic set up of all properties we stayed at. Very simple, very basic, and very low effort. The biggest kicker was the cost of this stay was quite high at time of booking, and the price we paid was more than the nicest hotel we stayed at during our trip (which had a bathroom bigger than the ENTIRE room & bathroom here). In short, B&B Guesthouse Keflavik is highly NOT recommended unless the price is right and you do not have a car for transport. If you are driving, there are many options even in other areas and you can drive to the airport first thing in the morning. I’d even resort to a night in the car instead. I made a reservation for this accommodation and unfortunately I had to postpone my trip because my fiancée's brother, who was going to travel with me, discovered a brain tumor. My fiancée asked to postpone the trip until he had surgery to remove the tumor and she felt comfortable traveling. I tried to contact the accommodation to ask for a refund if possible and they denied it. I tried more than once to ask them to allow us to reschedule the accommodation for 2025 and they were not kind enough to respond. They had nothing to lose by accepting our request to reschedule the date, and yet they chose to completely ignore us. You can have my Money. Empathy and cordiality is something you won't be able to buy with it cause you are sad and empty people.

This is the worse hotel/BB I've ever set my foot in. It had a totally unacceptable standard. Check-in was quick and quite abrupt. The room was in a very bad condition. The bed linen was totally worn out and the pillowcase seemed already used with several dark hairs on it. The duvet was thin and worn our and so was the towel. I removed the duvet and pillow and used my sleeping bag instead. The door had scratches as if someone had tried to escape from it, unfortunately I didn't take a picture of the scratches around the looker on inside of the door, it must have been made by someone with someting hard who was desperate. The bathroom was unbelievable. See the pictures. It was dirty and broken. The bath mat who I was meant to share with the other rooms was totally worn out. There was hair in the shower, that was a total wreck. I didn't shower during my stay because of this. The wi-fi was non-existing on my room. The breakfast was really bad. The juices was presented in containers and so diluted with water that there was barely any color left. It tasted nothing. Everything was out of its original packing and probably of the cheapest brand available, at least it tasted so. I tried the apple juice and just had to pour it out. Ended up with two toast bread with jam, I guess that was the most tasty. The airport shuttle was limited to pre-defined times, and could be full if you didn't order it early the day before. The latest departure in the morning from the BB was 0740 am. I guess its convenient for the hotel to get the guests out early. The parking is not free if you book via ******* a note said. I paid 16000 ISK for one night. I really regret booking this hotel. I didn't feel secure and there wasn't a friendly atmosphere so I just pulled it through the night. The shared kitchen was in ok condition, but that was the only positive thing to say. I could have taken a lot more pictures to document this, but my priority ended up looking forward to leave as quick as possible. Luckily I got a shared room at a hostel closer to the airport the next day. That was Hilton standard compared to this.

I called the BB and they picked me up from the airport. the only thing is that the driver could speak no english When I arrived at the BB, I received my key and when I asked for a transfer for the following morning to the airport, I was charged 3500 ISK. I was really shocked by that amount, which is very high (20.- euros) and nowhere does it say that it costs to go to the airport. I checked the BB website. The bathroom was dirty, the toilets had not been cleaned, nor the floor, nor the shower. There was little water for the flush in the shower were shower products empty, which means that when was last cleaning done ? My room was cold, i asked for an extra heater and received one. The place is run by polish people, the welcoming was very fast and not very warm.

B & B Guesthouse is a hostel 10 minutes drive from Keflavik Airport. Our room was clean, the beds were springy and it was a little noisy with people coming and going through the night. The Eastern European staff work hard all through the day and night transporting guests to and from the airport, as well as running the hostel. The hostel was clean, including the communal showers. The kitchen however was a different story thanks to a group of grubs (messy dirty people) that used most the cooking equipment, but didn't wash it up properly or clean up the work surfaces. Overall - I didn't feel that B & B guesthouse offers value for money.

The rooms are incredibly tiny. I could hardly walk around the bed and hit my head at the tv all the time. There was no space for the suitcases apart from inside the bathroom. The rooms were hot (the window could open only a fraction and no airco). The juices at breakfast were horrible and I would recommend to stick to water or milk. But their free transfer to the hotel was on time and the driver friendly. There is a communal sitting area, which was even hotter than the room.

No shuttle service to the airport possible that matched with our departure-time. First they told us shuttle-service would match, later they told us, that we have to take a shuttle TOO early. We asked for a later one, but no chance to get one (about 8 oder 8:30). We decided to take a taxi. Not really helpfully staff, not interested in our shuttle-problem. When we checked in, our room wasn't ready and we had to wait.
