I stayed at this hotel in June 2024 and, unfortunately, my experience was mixed at best. Before my arrival, I attempted to contact the hotel directly to request a twin room. Unfortunately, the reservations operator couldn’t speak any English, and my calls to the front desk went unanswered. I ended up making the request through my travel agent and hoped it would be communicated properly. When I arrived late at night, I was told I had been given a double bed and that there was no record of my request. They offered a twin room as an upgrade, but it was over my budget. I asked if a room switch could be arranged the next day. During this interaction, the receptionist made a sarcastic and inappropriate comment implying that the man I was with must be my brother since I requested twin beds. Given that my partner and I are of different races, the comment felt completely out of line. I was too exhausted to confront it at the time, but it left a bad impression. To the hotel’s credit, they added an extra bed the following day after I asked again, which I appreciated. The best feature of this hotel is its location—right in town, close to amenities, and with its own well-maintained beach that includes free Wi-Fi. The food was just okay: edible but bland, and it could definitely benefit from more seasoning. The overall service was also underwhelming. Most of the staff didn’t smile, and a few male receptionists gave the impression that they resented being there. All in all, it was an average stay. While the location is a strong point, the lack of service quality and the uncomfortable experience at check-in mean it’s unlikely I will be returning.
