Just one night stay here. Convenient location and Big room. Shuttle services to airport is great.

It was a comfortable stay at the Protea. All was well. Great place to stay for an early morning flight. Shuttle was efficient. The dessert at the restaurant was amazing.

Great atmosphere, love the shuttle option, I would stay again if I need to fly somewhere. The Barman made me a great mocktail after I told him I don’t drink.  The food was good and malva pudding was great! Not so sweet

This hotel was an excellent choice, free shuttle service was very convenient. The hotel design is very cool and the staff was also very very nice. The water pressure for the bathroom was very weak but it got the job done.

Clean, comfortable and interestingly decorated in an aviation theme. Lovely menu for room service.

Just stay for transit. The front desk staff was very kind and helpful. The room was very clean, and the facilities were okay. It would have been perfect if there had been an iron in a room.

This was my first time visiting here. Enjoyed the hospitality and the Lemon herb Chicken was delicious and I wanted to take on the plane back. But I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Johannesburg, Pretoria area. I would recommend this hotel to visit and rest peacefully and take a dip in the outdoor pool.

My stay at the Protea Hotel was nothing short of amazing the staff was incredibly helpful and pleasant they offered helpful tips without even asking you could tell that they’re main objective was to give us an amazing experience

I stayed here on the last day of my trip to Africa. Everything was great! I took the airport shuttle to and from the airport and it was always on time. It was easy to find where to get on and off. I would stay here again if I visit Johannesburg.

This is a lovely hotel. Near the airport, 5 minute drive. Shuttle service available every 30 minutes. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The rooms are quite spacious and beautifully designed. I loved the bath tub in my room and the overalls airport inspired decor. I definitely recommend and will be back in the future.

We had a great stay at Protea Hotel. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the service was very friendly. It was a great spot to stay for a night before a flights.

The location was perfect for a one night stopover. The reception staff were very efficient and friendly. The free airport shuttle was definitely a plus.

Staff were great. We booked into a suite and The room was neat and my partner and I had a peaceful sleep although it was closer to the airport. Highly recommended

Service at this Protea hotel is wonderful, in comparison to the other Protea hotels in the city. Driving here is a bit of challenge though, so do factor in some buffer time.
