Dhoani Maldives Guesthouse

We feel like whatever words we will use for this review, won`t be enough to describe how amazing was our vacation at Dhoani Guesthouse and this is not just because Maldives is...a tropical paradise, but because Dhoani has the best people in the world who will offer you a very authentic Maldivian experience. They are there for you and you can feel that every second of your stay! We had the best New years experience with fishing at the sunset and a beach party after followed by an incredible firework show that we watched from the middle of the ocean. Following days we went for snorkeling (we also found Nemo & the entire cast from the movie :) ) fishing (Hida also gave us the chance to fish our dinner) trip to sandbank (surreal experience) and, the cherry on top, Hida, Elaf, Sam, Hussein, Ballo and Lau organized for my birthday and incredible party on a secluded island. We highly recommend this place because these people will make everything in their power to give you the best experience ever.

We had an amazing time, the staff is the kindest you’ll ever find. The island is small and cozy, everyone has been very friendly and welcoming. Hida has given us the best support and advices. The excursions are amazing and well organised. We totally recommend it!

Hi. This is a guesthouse located on a residential island. Room is clean, staffs are very friendly and helpful. It close to snorkelling places, sandbanks. It also provides lots of excursion activities. Very good place for solo travelers who are trying to save money and enjoy more.

Staying at the Dhoani Guesthouse was one of the best experiences of my travel life. This is our second time in the Maldives and our choice of Kendhoo island was spot on the money. This island is small and can easily reach anywhere by walking without hassle and people were supper friendly. We were a family of 2 with my kid. The hotel catered beautifully to our needs. The beds and linens were sooo comfortable. There was an air condition and a fan which kept the place cool. Breakfast was served from 7 to 9am and was very varied. There were always veg, meat and local options. They catered for those going on the day trips. Lunch was served from 12 to 2pm. There was nothing the hotel staff would not do to make myself and my children comfortable, especially Husham and Eelaf went above and beyond every day greeting us with a kind word and a smile. Whole trip was amazing, planning to come with my whole family, hopefully soon! Cheers!!

Unser Aufenthalt im Dhoani war einfach fantastisch! Das Personal war unglaublich herzlich, jederzeit über WhatsApp erreichbar und immer hilfsbereit – egal worum es ging. Selbst als wir beim Schnorcheln einen kleinen Unfall mit einem Seeigel hatten, wurde uns sofort geholfen – schnell, professionell und mit viel Fürsorge. Das Essen war super lecker, abwechslungsreich und zudem sehr preisgünstig. Auch die Ausflüge waren klasse – gut organisiert und voller schöner Erlebnisse. Die Insel Kendhoo selbst ist traumhaft schön, ruhig und authentisch. Noch nie sind wir Menschen begegnet, die so offen, freundlich und warmherzig waren. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an willkommen gefühlt. Wer das echte, persönliche Malediven-Erlebnis sucht, ist hier genau richtig!

Wir hatten einen super tollen Urlaub in dem Gast Haus, richtig liebe und hilfsbereite Menschen. Man konnte sich super verständigen und alles wurde einem erklärt. Immer frische Handtücher, die super gut geduftet haben. Das Essen war wirklich Hammer. Ich kann dieses Gast Haus nur empfehlen. Würde immer wieder dort übernachten.
