The Inn at English Meadows

The Inn at English Meadows is in a good location, just a short walk to Kennebunkport and its many restaurants and shops, as well as Gooch's Beach. It is not far from Ogunquit Playhouse and the Marginal Way. We stayed in "Sunrise" during our three night visit to the Inn. It is a bright room perfect for early risers and located on the second floor on the front side of the home. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. We just had some issues with the toilet running during the night. We were there for three breakfasts and the weather was nice so we were served on the patio. We enjoyed the French Toast with strawberries, yogurt with berries, and watermelon with warm honey. Two out of three mornings egg dishes were served and I chose not eat those. I requested just the English muffin one morning which took a while. Coffee is available from 7:30-10:00 AM and there is an Espresso machine for those who like that.

Nice Bed & Breakfast. Our room was clean and comfortable. Bed was comfortable. The breakfast was ok, but neither of us are fans of pancakes. Wish there was other choices for breakfast. Very convenient to Kennebunkport. We would book again if we are back in the area. I would call the Inn to find out more about all their rooms.

Excellent hotel in a superb location - highly recommended. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we made to feel very welcome. Breeakfasts were superb, room was great and the beds were very comfortable. It's also just a short walk into the lovely town

Lovely Inn - the Inn is an easy walk to town. Love the wine machine - brilliant idea for guests to have a glass of wine when relaxing. All of the staff was very helpful. We would definitely come back. Kennebunkport is a great place to visit - lots of nice shops and restaurants.

A real gem in Kennebunk! Diane and Carmen went out of their way to make our stay so amazing in their fabulous inn! So comfortable and their updated place was beautiful and we enjoyed it so much! Its location was perfect for us to explore this beautiful area of Maine!!

We stayed in several inns during our vacation to Maine. The Inn at English Meadows was incredible! Our room was beautiful and the beds offered us the best night's sleep of our stay. The bathroom/shower area of our room was huge and completely updated. The breakfast was delicious and the staff could not have been any nicer! We would love to stay here again.

My (now) husband and I did the elopement package at English Meadows and our experience was wonderful! The Inn is beautiful and immaculate, the rooms are cozy and charming, the breakfasts are delicious, and it’s an easy walk into Kennebunkport (which I recommend over trying to drive and park). Diane, the owner, and Carmen, the Innkeeper, were amazing and made our day even more special with their attention to detail and making sure that not only were we happy and taken care of, but the other guests who happen to “crash” our wedding were too. I highly recommend English Meadows and can’t wait to return!

Everything and more. A beautiful, relaxing and convenient lodging. We loved our stay and Diane is a wonderful host/owner. Breakfast in the garden was a perfect start to each day. Don’t miss an opportunity to stay here. Parking and proximity to shopping and restaurants.

My husband and I stayed here for three nights during our first trip to Maine, and it was one of our favorites. We stayed in Sea Glass. It was well stocked with toiletries, was very clean, and was somewhat private from the other rooms. Down the steps, we had a refrigerator that we could use. The breakfasts each morning were delicious. The breakfast tacos and peach pancakes were favorites. The staff was amazing and so helpful with recommendations. Also, the Inn was so convenient to everything in the area. If you are looking to go whale watching, check out EcoAdventures. It was an amazing experience.
