KT Apartments

Neighbourhood feels a bit isolated as it is mostly industrial -a few blocks away from a few cafes and nicer streets. 25mins walk to the CBD, 10-15 mins by bus. Norwood neighbourhood also about 20mins walk- fairly quiet on our weekend. Apartment is well-appointed. Entry is via a digital key- you need to download an app and wait for the key to be made available (which is right on check in time and can cause a bit of an anxious wait before hand). App download collects personal data. Apartment info (including wifi password) accessed by QR code which requires personal data collection again. Phone support is ok, staff friendly but can't do much). No reception on site. No place for left luggage before and after stay. 30 mins walk to the hotel that manages the apartment.

Great apartment - very comfortable, modern and well equipped - and in a great location for us, close to the city centre and to supermarkets and other shops and services. But the communication before arrival about how to get into the apartment was quite unsatisfactory (to put it very mildly), as it led us to believe there would be a lock-box containing keys, but it turned out we needed a digital key, and we didn't get the information about that until 20 minutes before we were expecting to move in, and also we didn't get any information about getting a second key until we phoned the reception office to find out (the next day). For such a nice apartment and the amount we were paying, this was very disappointing and spoiled our initial experience.

These apartments are fabulous. We had a two bedroom/ 2 bathroom which was very spacious. The kitchen, dining lounge area is very large with a large outside deck. Lovely toiletries are supplied. It was about a 15 minute easy walk to the CBD. We parked the car in the car park provided and walked everywhere.

Stayed for 3 nights with my family. The apartment is decent and clean. However, the lift broke down over 2 days and during this time, I have a family member who require mobility assistance. Called the reception line and help was sent to assist us in leaving the apartment; staffs assisted us with carrying the wheelchair down to basement carpark while I help my family member down the many flight of stairs. Was told the lift will be fixed next day but it wasn't so. The staff managed to get the lift "working" and taught us. However, I think other guests soon learnt about it too and also started using the lift. Worst moment for me is during check-out, where I got a flight to catch and the lift isn't working. Called the reception line and was told that she couldn't help us. Have to carry 3 luggages down myself before helping my family member down the endless flight of stairs. I can only say the stay would be good if everything function as it is. Otherwise, you are pretty much on your own, especially when reception line is not in operating hours.

The apartment is excellent: clean and well fitted. The major distraction was the registration process.a physical checkin at the Comfort Inn (Meridien) in Melbourne St North Adelaide was necessary. This is 5km walk away. The key is on JustINN mobile application. Any swipe keys we had had to be replaced as they didn’t work. On a hot afternoon there was also a delay to gain access due to the *********** reservation made by my family. This detracted from an otherwise pleasant stay.

Booked an overnight stay with friends. The room had a warm welcoming feel and made is quite easy so relax in. Bedrooms were a practical size to allow for a spacious kitchen/lounge area. Bathrooms were fantastic and the shower was hot and great pressure. Loved the oversized shower head. Will definitely be staying here again as it was tucked away in a quite street and close to CBD without being in town.
