Barrow Lodge

What a wonderful experience we had at Barrow Lodge. The host is such a wonderful lady. Clodagh was just lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. Her staff are wonderful as well. The food is magnificent (Thankyou Alex) The rooms are exceptional, clean, very comfortable and beautifully maintained. The location was easy to find and get to with stunning views. Highly recommended staying at Barrow Lodge. Clodagh is a lovely lady. We hit it off with her immediately. She is so nice and had given us fantastic memories to take with us. First time staying here, lovely warm and friendly from start to finish. Clodagh, Claire and Mittens were wonderful and very friendly and always on hand to talk to with regard to where to eat and visit. Rooms were lovely and breakfast was divine (home made scones and lemon drizzle cake were awesome). Thank you and hopefully see you again next year. The Moriarty’s

If I could give Barrow Lodge a score of 11 I would. The position beside the loch is so peaceful and tranquil. The rooms are furnished to the highest quality. The breakfast is wonderful, from the normal full Irish to smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, plus much more. Now to the star attraction, the owner Clodagh is all things to all people. There is nothing that is too much trouble. Always happy and smiling and always has time to have a chat. This is in my view a place of my dreams.

Oh my goodness this was an amazing property. The reception by the owner was personal and went beyond expectations. Thank you. The beds were comfy with silky sheets. The rooms were well appointed and had everything we needed. Great views. Loved the fizzy water in the room.

Barrow Lodge was one of the most wonderful, charming places I’ve had the privilege of staying while on vacation. The room was perfect - huge, comfortable bed, amazing sea view, and was impeccably clean - I can’t stress that enough, it was the tidiest room I’ve ever had and puts hotels to shame. The small touches - something as simple as water on the bedside tables - was so refreshing. It was lovely to meet the resident dogs and cat, and the breakfast every morning had a large selection of grab-and-go, as well as home cooked hot meals, which were just as amazing as everything else. Clodagh and Clare made us feel so at home, it was hard to leave! We will definitely be back and cannot recommend Barrow Lodge enough

We loved our peaceful stay at Barrow Lodge. Clodagh really went out of her way to ensure we enjoyed our stay, offering us a choice of rooms, both large with huge bathrooms and with fantastic views. The breakfasts were superb, cereals, juice, scones, as well as full cooked options. We enjoyed walking from the hotel onto the beach over the headland below Tralee golf course. And of course, getting a cuddle from Bonnie the huge Newfie, and Fernando the little pup was lovely too, but you’ll only meet them on the terrace, not indoors. Would love to return if in the area.
