95km south of the city of Joensuu with the lake Puruvesi located 150m away (416,35 km²). The lake has a shallow sand floor suitable for children. A shared beach, boat and pier are available for use. The holiday villa made from planed log in 2015 includes a spacious kitchen and 3 bedrooms each with 2 beds. The entrance to one of the bedrooms is from the outside. The living room is equipped with a convertible sofa. A laundry room, electric sauna and a large partially furnished terrace. It is not possible to rent bed linen and towels. A modern, well-lit and spacious villa opens up to a beautiful view to the lake Puruvesi. The villa is separate from other cottages on top of a small hill in the Karelia Country Club holiday centre which has a combined 8 holiday cottages and 2 beach saunas. A wireless internet connection, beach sauna, grill shelter with a smoke grill, a volleyball and petanque court, 2 boats and a pier are all available for customer use. The holiday centre’s environs are great for mushroom and berry picking.The service building has a dryer machine and a large freezer for collected berries, mushrooms or fish. 50 km to the east from Savonlinna, small river 40 m, mud bottom, water depth at the end of the pier is 1,5 m, suitable for dipping after the sauna. Better swimming beach is shared with few other cabins in the area, distance is 200 m (lake Saimaa/Puruvesi), hard, gently deepening, sanded bottom, pier and rowing boat. There is a road between the cabin and the beach. Log cabin 1977, renovated in 2008, kitchen, two beds in the living area, washroom with shower and WC, sleeping area (20 m²) with two beds and double bed on the upper floor, access from the outside (spiral staircase). There is a sauna building by the small river. Sauna has wood-burning sauna stove, sleeping area with one bed and terrace. Pet fee per pet per stay. Kesämäki is an idyllic and well reachable rental cabin located at the edge of the field. The following rental cabins are located in the same tourist area: 15241, 15242, 15243, 15244 and 15499. The owner is offering several rental services for the guests. There are, for example, snowmobiles, motorboats, outboard motors, canoes, kayaks, sup boards, bicycles, and fishing gear for rent. There are also possibilities for horse riding and sleigh riding in the area. There are many places worth visiting nearby; good hiking trails and possibilities to pick berries and mushroom.
