Another fantastic stay and such welcoming &gracious hosts, stayed every year for Christmas light switch on for last 5 years, would not stay anywhere else. They guys are so cool and would do anything for you. We have already booked for same time next year.

A very warm welcome with lots of helpful local advise. The room was very spacious and well appointed. Breakfast was great. Been coming to Keswick for many years, without a pet, and never found this gem. Would recommend it, whether you have a pet or not. We will be back.

Fantastic stay with our dog, ideal location. We were all made to feel very welcome. Breakfast was lovely and our dog was allowed to breakfast with us. The finishing touch was cake to take with us on the last morning, our dog got a sausage too. Will definitely stay there again.

Our stay might have only been for 2 nights but we were made very welcome especially our boxer dog Lolly. We had the king size room with settee which was spotless. The bed was soooo comfortable just what you needed after a long day's walk. The long walk was only achievable with one of the best cooked breakfasts we have had. Our hosts advice on the various walks and activities in and around Keswick was greatly appreciated. Would hesitate in recommending the Salisbury and as the terminator said we will be back.

Friendly welcome, very accommodating re food preferences. However, our room was very small ( room 2) and not that clean especially around the edges / under the bed. The ensuite wasn't great, very tired. Blackened on the silicone in shower. Also needed a steam clean to remove the engrained dust on steps upto the shower. I found the pillows hard, but that might be preference? Maybe the room is waiting a refurbishment? Never saw any other rooms to compare.

Had a lovely stay second time for us Matt is a lovely host. Rooms are great beds so comfy. Breakfast is great plenty of choice from fruit , cereal, toast and cooked breakfast, tea coffee and juices would recommend 100% to anyone. Location is minutes into Keswick on road parking pot luck if you get close but we didn’t have a problem

The guesthouse is simple but has everything you need and perfect for what we were looking for, clean and inviting. Very close to town centre and the park. What made this for us was the helpfulness and friendliness of the hosts, I travelled with my 5 year old son and they embraced us and were not even slightly put off by me bringing a child along. Matt facilitated all our needs (especially multiple requests for getting bikes in and out of secure storage!). We were given excellent recommendations and the breakfast each day was a fantastic start to the day. Thank you for your hospitality and we hope to see you again. Matt and Eric

Matt and his partner are excellent and welcoming hosts. We really enjoyed our stay at Salisbury house. We had a spacious and clean room and the bed was so soft and comfortable (so important!). It was lovely waking up in the morning to views of Latrigg. Breakfast is superb, plenty of options and cooked to order. The guest house is well placed and 5 minutes walk into the centre of Keswick. Overall a wonderful stay and would recommend to anyone.

We had a warm welcome and a very comfortable room. It was a good size, sparkling clean, a very comfy bed and a super soft sofa. Breakfast was plentiful, delicious, and cooked to order. The additional lovely touch was a carefully wrapped piece of Matt's lush homemade cake he sent us away with. We'd definitely go back if we're in Keswick.
