The room was more than comfortable. The pool has a great atmosphere and view. The guests all interact with each other. Was fun. The staff at the pool were fabulous. I don’t normally spend time in a hotel pool. But the atmosphere and view from the pool provided a very enjoyable experience.

I loved this hotel. The rooms were amazing and the staff were fantastic. It’s in a great location just at the end of Duval street. The pier bar and restaurant were great too and it’s the prefect place to watch the amazing sunsets. The pool is also fantastic.

Everything about Ocean Key was fantastic from the start of our stay to the finish. Upon arrival the front desk staff was welcoming and helpful, and the welcome cocktails were delicious. We were booked in a partial ocean view junior suite, but received an upgrade into an oceanfront suite that took an already great anniversary trip and made it over the top excellent. Pool bar staff was attentive, cheerful and provided great service. The pool location ocean front is as good as it gets in Key West. The only issue during our stay was the out of service elevators near our room, but this was just a mild inconvenience not a hindrance to the great time had. We will definitely be back.

This used to be a pretty good place to stay. We've been coming here same week every year for over 20 years. Over the last few stays there has been a marked decline in maintenance. Nasty, dirty floors. Broken, poorly maintained furniture, fixtures, broken (for months) elevator, hot tub problems,etc. They'll fix stuff sometimes if you request service. Front desk service, while congenial, is not very enthusiastic. Like YOU'RE bothering THEM. The last time I gave the resort a written comment page, addressed to the resort mgr., specifically asking for a reply I got crickets. You might want to take a pass on this joint.

The location is great if you want to be within walking distance of restaurants, shopping and other activities along Duval Street. The service at the hotel was exceptional and the entire staff was friendly. We stayed in a junior suite and the room was very clean and a great size. The room was furnished with two flat screen tv’s, a separate area with a couch and a balcony. The pool area was really nice, overlooking the ocean and Mallory Square. The gym was very small and had some dumbbells, cardio equipment and a cable machine. The only complaint was the layout of the resort, that seemed confusing and weird. We rented a golf cart to explore the town, which is well worth it. You really can’t go wrong to stay at this resort if you are looking to be in the middle of the action that Key West offers.

This resort enjoys a wonderful location being at the bottom of Duval Street and overlooking the sea. The pool area is great, however the resort is all a little faded, and showing signs of its age, and in need of some refurbishment investment. It offers poor value for money.

My husband and I were extremely disappointed in the customer service with this resort. We had plans to get away for our 20th wedding anniversary and we couldn't fly out due to the Crowdstrike mishap. The hotel graciously rescheduled our stay to October. Unfortunately we were supposed to travel when hurricane Milton was supposed to hit. We called the hotel to see if we could reschedule our trip and they would not accommodate and we lost our deposit for the trip. After reaching out via phone, we opted to email, as well, to see if we could reschedule our trip. We never received a reply. I'm disappointed that they chose to value money over safety, family, and loyalty when an impending natural disaster was imminent.

Everything was wonderful!! From the front staff, bell hop, concierge and hotel staff we were made to feel like celebrities. Niki from the front staff even made our early departure due to Hurricane Milton an easy transition. The staff assisted us in renting golf carts and even helped my Hubby arrange a surprise of chocolates, champagne and flowers in our room on our anniversary which was the 2nd day of our trip. Dinner each night was delicious and the pool was keep Crystal clean during the day. There was never a time that we had to wait for our room to be cleaned or for our bathroom to be replenished with tools! I highly recommend booking this resort again.

Get ready to melt away your stress in Key West! From the beds to the view, everything is TOP NOTCH at OKR. Truly world class service and impeccable attention to detail. The rooms are beautifully antiquated, very clean and the showers are wonderful. The location is unbeatable and the pool and pool bar has great food and views! Do NOT miss out on the bread pudding from Hot Tin Roof and if you are planning ANY special event or group retreat come on back to OKR because they truly are the best!
