Ecoair Apartment Hotel

Rooms are spacious, clean, quite nicely designed and well equipped (kettle, fridge, toaster, oven, microwave, kitchen unit, TV, reasonable WiFi, hot shower, mosquito screens on windows, etc.). It's very convenient that there is a cafe and restaurant on site and that staff will deliver the food to your room. Service was excellent 5/5. All the staff were very polite, helpful and eager to please. Coffee was really good 5/5. Food was ok: 3/5. There were power outages and Wifi interruptions on two days during my stay, which is understandable because repairs were being done, but frustrating as it interrupted my work. The room could have done with a proper desk and work chair. Also, there should be a power socket extender provided in the kitchen, because it was impossible to plug in any of the appliances without unplugging the gas detector (which then beeps incessantly at you). The lock on my balcony door was not working (which isn't the end of the world because you're in a secure compound in a safe part of town, but this should be fixed). Finally piece of constructive feedback – the hotel should stop staff from walking down the back / side of the hotel as a) there is no proper path there anyway and b) they can look directly into your room if you're on the ground floor and this is a bit of an invasion of privacy. On the whole, I was happy with my stay and I'd stay there again.

I have stayed at Ecoair during a business trip that lasted 5 days. The apartment was very spacious, equipped with everything I would need and even more! The area is peaceful and Ecoair garden is very green and well kept, which makes the stay at Ecoair very relaxing. However, the best part was the warm hospitality I received from each of the employees of Ecoair, especially Benone and Yvette, two amazing young people who made me feel home from the very first time I've met them. Amazing costumer care: very professional and authentic!! I'll come back!

I’ve stayed in a few hotels in Kigali - from expensive to budget - and Ecoair is hands down my favourite. The staff are friendly, apartments are big, clean and comfortable. Excellent experience all round

The place is clean surrounded with trees and sound of birds in the morning. Is better than a hotel. In this apartment you can cook and make your own meal because there is a kitchen and a dining place. The rates are abit high compared to my home country but it's a nice place to spend days in Kigali
